The surface of the DSR is designed for reflection of Ku-band electromagnetic waves and pass through those of K- and Ka-band. The DSR is built in a double ring structure using a popular low cost FR4 - printed circuit board (PCB). Abstract

The possibility to receive Ku band TV signals besides performing broadband interactive services in Ka band from the same orbital position enhances significantly the value of user satellite terminal.
