Abstract
Comparative study of enhancing stability of a wind farm that is grid connected has exposed moderating voltage variability and achieving reactive power recompense by means of STATCOM (static synchronous compensator). A PID controller and voltage control loop altogether used for controlling STATCOM. For maintaining control of STATCOM, PWM technique is introduced.
