The subject of this research is the ninth grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah Lempangang as urban students and the ninth grade students of MTs N 4 Bulukumba as rural students. The number of participants is 20 students. The result of research showed that (1) all of the informants of MTs N 4 Bulukumba as a rural area are motivated in Learning EFL. It is similar with the informants of MTs Muhammadiyah Lempangang as an urban area. They are also motivated. Abstract

城乡学生英语学习动机的比较分析
本研究的目的是找出(1)城乡学生的学习动机(2)影响城乡学生学习动机的类型(3)影响城乡学生学习动机的因素(4)培养城乡学生学习动机的有效途径。本研究采用描述性质的研究设计。本研究的对象是muhammad madiyah Lempangang MTs的九年级学生作为城市学生和n4 Bulukumba MTs的九年级学生作为农村学生。参加人数为20名学生。研究结果表明:(1)布卢昆巴地区的所有被调查者都有学习外语的动机。它与MTs Muhammadiyah Lempangang作为城市地区的举报人相似。他们也很有动力。两个区域在动机水平上存在差异(2)主要影响农村学生的动机类型是综合动机和工具性动机,而城市学生的动机类型是工具性动机(3)两个学生区域内部或外部因素之间的相似性是期望、教师和活动和材料,而两者之间的差异是相关性。(4)培养农村学生学习英语的动机的有效途径是教师始终对词汇的发音进行训练,而城市学生则是教师在学习和教学过程中应多进行实践活动。
