Abstract

In vitro antioxidant potential and metal chelating activity of various solvent fractions of Gelidiella acerosa were evaluated by different antioxidant assays, like ferric reducing antioxidative power (FRAP) assay and scavenging activities for hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyl radical and nitric oxide.
