Abstract
Verbascum matevskii is described, and illustrated as species new to science from the northwestern part of Nort Macedonia. It is a distinct species, to some extent similar to the Balkan endemics V. davidoffii, V. durmitoreum and V. epixanthinum var. pindicolum, differing from each of them in several morphologic characteristics.
