Abstract
In this article, the characteristics of the genus Gymnocalycium are considered in terms of the classifi cation proposed by Schutz and modifi ed by Rogatsky. The dynamics of the development of the collection of representatives of the genus Gymnocalycium in the “Alexandru Ciubotaru” National Botanical Garden (I) is given below.
