Abstract
Cascaded chirped long period fiber gratings (C-CLPG) are provided as sensing elements for use in intensity-based underwater acoustic fiber-optic sensors, in which C-CLPGs are inscribed in photosensitive fiber by means of point-by-point technique with UV radiation.
