Therefore, it was used as methodological procedures, the case study and the systemic model for aquaculture, particularly the calculation of the indexes that it composes the sustainability of economic and social sub‐system: Economic and Social Development Index (IDES) and Social Capital Index (ICS). The data were obtained by conducting field research and documentary research. The data collection instruments were the semi‐structured interviews.
