The fluid and explosive models are described by ALE algorithm, the structure model of rudder is represented in Lagrangain method. And also penalty function coupling algorithm is applied to the interface between different medium. The simulation of the whole process of ship rudder suffering from the shock of TNT explosion is accomplished by finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA. The shock response, including stress and displacement nephogram of rudder, pressure-time process curve in the typical position, and acceleration-time curve etc. is presented.
