This study presents a novel hybrid teaching method that integrating Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) and Small Private Online Course (SPOC) into the physical classroom on fundamentals of computer courses in college. Firstly, the authors present a framework of problem-driven learning methods for fundamentals computers using MOOC and SPOC. And then the authors design use cases oriented for the learner's major. Finally, the study discusses collaborative learning by grouping mechanism on practical classroom and SPOC platform.
