PREVALÊNCIA DE PACIENTES VÍTIMAS DE ACIDENTE VASCULAR ISQUÊMICO DIAGNOSTICADOS POR EXAME DE IMAGEM
Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide, second only to ischemic heart disease. It is a disease with high incidence and concerns health scholars because of is potential to cause often irreversible brain damage. Expose or expose, aims to analyze the prevalence of patients affected by Ischemic Stroke, as changes in imaging exams in the first 24 hours and in the main injured brain territories. The study was conducted at Valle Imagem, located in Itaporanga-PB, with a sample of 20 eletronic reports. Data were analyzed in SPSS. Descriptive analyzes of relative and absolute frequency, measures of central tendency and dispersion were used. It was also used for Pearson1s chisquare inferential analysis and Studant’s test.
