Vaccinations des patients adultes transplantés d’organe solide ou en attente de transplantation

Les patients transplantés sont à risque accru d’infections. Parmi celles-ci, certaines peuvent être évitées grâce à des vaccinations. L’immunosuppression induite par les médicaments anti-rejet altère la réponse vaccinale : il faut donc vacciner tôt les patients dans la période pré-transplantatoire. En effet, même si les vaccins donnent une réponse immunitaire moins importante que chez l’immunocompétent, il existe une protection, soit en gardant le même schéma soit en renforçant ce schéma.

Solid-organ transplant recipients are at increased risk of infections. Among those, some may be prevented by vaccination. Immunosuppression induced by anti-graft rejection drugs alters vaccine response: it is thus mandatory to vaccinate early patients during the pre-graft period. Indeed, even if vaccines induce a less pronounced immune response than in immunocompetent patients, a protection is provided, using the standard or an increased dosing regimen.
