Aim: This study evaluated the role of myocardial strain analysis in assessment of severity of coronary artery stenosis in coronary artery disease patients. Patients and methods: The study was conducted at the Cardiology Department, Benha University Hospitals during the period from January 2023 to July 2023. This study included 100 patients with CAD, patients were divided into two groups: Group A: 50 Patients with Non-ST elevation Acute coronary syndrome. and Group B: 50 Patients with positive or equivocal stress ECG. (Stable coronary artery disease). All patients underwent full history & examination, ECG, conventional & speckle tracking Echocardiography & both Gensini & Syntax scores were calculated for every patient. Results: The study revealed a significant lower GLPSS in Group A compared to Group B (p<0.001).
