For this, we used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Following an online survey that resulted in a sample of 229 higher education instructors. The collected data was analyzed through the Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). The results show that compatibility has a strong influence on perceived ease of use, perceived utility and attitude towards use. Moreover, attitude towards use also has a relevant effect on the intention to use WhatsApp as an educational technology. 摘要

本研究的主要目的是提出并测试一个理论模型,以调查影响高等教育教师使用 WhatsApp 作为工具来加强传统(面对面)课堂教学和学习过程的因素。为此,我们采用了技术接受模型(TAM)。在对 229 名高校教师进行在线调查后,我们对收集到的数据进行了结构化分析。收集到的数据通过结构方程模型(SEM)进行了分析。结果显示,兼容性对感知易用性、感知效用和使用态度有很大影响。此外,使用态度对使用 WhatsApp 作为教育技术的意向也有相关影响。最后,研究结果表明,高校教师在评估移动学习技术时,会考虑该技术与他们的价值观、需求和经验的兼容性,以及对该技术在课堂上的实用性的感知,这些都是形成使用新技术(如本例中的 WhatsApp)进行教学的积极态度的相关因素。
