She is a Cave Canem fellow, Pushcart nominee, and winner of the Paris-American Poetry Prize. Her work has appeared or is upcoming in <em>Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, The Boston Review, The African American Review</em>, and <em>Beloit Poetry Journal</em>. Stewart-White is a part of City Theatre's Homegrown Playwrighting Program which nurtures and supports Miami's BIPOC playwrights.
