In this study, it is aimed to reveal the understanding of rhetoric by examining Sijilmāsī's work called al-Manzaʿ al-badīʿ fî tejnīs esālīb al-badīʿ. With the study carried out by examining the entire work, Sijilmāsī revealed his understanding of literary criticism and rhetoric in this work under the influence of Aristotelian logic and philosophy, and in this framework, Aristotle determined the categories he determined as the predicates of existence, and defined each title as high genus, and determined ten subheadings. It has been seen that each of the genera includes species, chapters and parts. It has been determined that the author's work differs from the classical classification method in the form of bayān, maʿānī, and badīʿ in rhetoric with its category logic.
