Abstract

The IEEE Consumer Electronics Society Future Directions Committee has launched an effort with other IEEE societies to create an initiative for Safe Advanced Mobile Power. This talk will discuss the initiative and how it will lead to more sustainable power sources and mobile consumer electronic products, while meeting important requirements for safety, sustainability, manufacturability and cost.
