Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present an implementation of a cluster of 20 Raspberry Pis and different local multi-node deployments of Kubernetes on top of it. The presented approaches differ both in terms of the used lightweight Kubernetes solutions and the used operating systems. Besides the different methods for deploying applications in containers, in the current paper are presented the interactions with the cluster as well as their differences. Based on collected metrics from the Kubernetes nodes are presented and compared loads of the different deployments.
