The electronic power converters are one of the most common devices that are used in every electronic device. From smallest devices such as mobile phones, to electric vehicles or even bigger technology. They convert the power in both directions, from lower to higher and reverse. There are many different types of DC - DC converters. In this paper will be discussed one type of converter, buck DC - DC converter. By estimating the output voltage of this type of converter, it will be shown how harmonics act in several working conditions to generalize the difference between the ideal and real working conditions. Spectral Analysis will be presented for each of the harmonic of the DC - DC converters. The circuit schemes will be provided in LTSpice.

This paper is a study that is focused on magical squares in order 4k+2. A magical square is a square that is divided in n x n smaller squares and above one side of these smaller squares is written an arithmetic sequence. This sequence consists of numbers ranging from 1 to $n^{2}$ in a way so that the sum of rows, columns and diagonals is the same. This study aims to give a better understanding of magic squares in order 4k+2 for future research, by implementing and presenting an algorithmic approach of identifying and generating magic squares in order 4k+2.

Smart agriculture is one of the fastest growing fields of Internet of Things. In its essence, it represents measurement of indicators from the agricultural field and their transmission to a centralized server, then a decision can be made to perform a certain automated action based on the received values. In order to measure these parameters, it is necessary for the systems located in the field to be equipped with the required sensors. In order to transmit data from the various agricultural areas to the remote servers, an appropriate network protocol and transmission medium should be selected. For the further processing of the data and the creation of a web-based system for monitoring of the transmitted parameters, a suitable programming environment should be used for data processing. This report describes the development of a comprehensive system for remote monitoring of agricultural crops.

Frequency scanning analysis is currently the most widely used method for identifying the existence of resonance and for determining resonant frequencies. Unfortunately, the method does not provide complete information necessary for effective prediction of the resonance phenomenon. The purpose of this paper is to present an approach for the analysis of resonance phenomena in the buck DC-DC converters in pre-design studies. Resonance phenomena are investigated from the point of view of description in the state space. The results revealed many interesting insights into these phenomena. Based on the results, an approach for the analysis of resonance phenomena is proposed.

Application notes for vector network analyzers (VNA) are filled with setups for measuring the closed loop transfer function of switched mode power supplies (SMPS) by injecting the perturbation in the voltage feedback. This is an important practical case when the SMPS must regulate the output voltage and as such includes an outer voltage loop. However, there are practical cases where only a current feedback loop is sufficient and similar setups for practical measuring with a VNA are not so obvious. This paper proposes a method for measuring the transfer function for such cases of practical significance.

This article examines modern methods for analysis and dynamic process modeling with the context of the capabilities, characteristics and advantages of types of multiagent systems. A practical implementation of the “Data to Action” model is proposed through the research simulation modeling system “Photovoltaic (PV) to Smart Energy Storage (SES) Grid”, developed by the authors using a Multi-Agent System for simulating the process of generating electricity produced by a PV park, its storage with the possibility of Time-Shifting and sale of energy.

In this paper**This publication has emanated from research conducted with the financial support of the Bulgarian National Science Fund (BNSF) under the Grant No. KP-06-IP-CHINA/I (K∏-06-N∏-KNTAN/1)., proposals for the realization of the infrastructural re-think on the way Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) service and Charging and Billing (C&B) service are supplied within the ubiquitous consumer wireless world (UCWW) are set out. Proposals envisage these being owned and organized by trusted third parties (TTPs) and utilizing new globally standardized protocols and infrastructural entity interfaces. Their implementation will effect a successful realization of the UCWW's consumer-based techno-business infrastructure, complementing or replacing the present legacy network-centric, subscriber-based one. The approach enables a loose dynamic, or even casual, consumer-type association between consumers (mobile users) and network/service providers, and opens the door to the multifaceted benefits for consumers, for new providers, and for other new UCWW business entities.

This paper considers the implementation of distributed video coding based on hierarchical wavelet transform. The low - frequency coefficients of the eighth and ninth decomposition levels are transmitted as key frames. Every second frame is skipped and interpolated in the decoder by key frames and additional (side) information containing wavelet coefficient prediction errors and considered as motion vectors. A comparison of the developed software complex and the DISCOVER codec was made based on the dependence of the signal-to-noise ratio on the bitrate. The concept of movement complexity is introduced and the gain from the application of the developed algorithm for generating side information using the BD-PSNR criterion is estimated for different video sequences.

In this paper, a kinematic model of a mechanically connected platoon of two car-like vehicles for cooperative driving is developed. The kinematic equations of motion are obtained in the form of a nonlinear driftless control system, which is affine in the control inputs and can be employed for the design of different types of low-speed steering controllers for automatic driving of the following vehicle in the platoon. A feedback steering control for the following vehicle is designed. Computer simulation tests using the derived kinematic equations of motion of the robotic vehicle platoon are carried out, in order to evaluate the validity of the developed kinematic model and active steering control for the mechanically linked transport vehicle platooning.

In the article is presented a method for measuring the realized linear accelerations from the motion of an automobile in real roads and operational conditions in the street network of Sofia. The total acceleration of the automobiles is measured by MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems — three-axis accelerometer model LIS3LV02DQ from STMicroelectronics) inertial sensors, the information from which is received by control and conversion unit based on programmable microprocessor controller. The processed information enters a computer, where it's recorded and visualized. Measurements and analysis of the longitudinal accelerations obtained by an automobile from several consecutive attempts on a specific route in different styles (modes) of driving the same automobile under the same climatic conditions were performed. The data obtained from the experiments and the accumulation of databases can be used to create models for determining the driving behavior of the driver, models for determining the unevenness of the road surface, the behavior of the automobile and the comfort of travel.
