Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to discuss some signal processing aspects pertaining to electro­ encephalograph (EEG) data. First, digital filters which enable one to extrapolate the THETA and ALPHA components of EEG data are presented. Next, the energy outputs of these filters are used to suggest a plaus­ ible quantitive measure for assessing the effective­ ness of a biofeedback training process. Some of the related experimental results are also included.
