Abstract

Basic theoretical considerations of communications with electromagnetic Walsh waves are presented. The spectra of unmodulated Walsh waves radiated from a small electric dipole are computed for ideal and trap­ ezoidal approximations to Walsh function excitation. A link analysis based upon matched filter detection of the radiated Walsh waves received in thermal noise is presented.
