Food waste is generated at each stage of the food production, distribution, and consumption system. In this research, we analyze the factors(temperature, humidity, precipitation, etc.) of food waste caused by climate change. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of increase or decrease in the amount of food waste led to the change of weather, to predict the amount of future generation, and then to examine collection, transportation and treatment directions of food waste in Seoul as climate change. In terms of logistics, this study contributed to the establishment of a circular economy society by suggesting a more efficient collection and transport of food waste and a rational treatment direction than previous studies on food waste treatment facilities, treatment methods, or policies. In order to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), waste must be reduced by more than half by 2030. Abstract
