New Zealand has a geographical position as the logistics hub of Latin America, and its logistics industry is important due to its high dependence on imports and exports. As about 90% of New Zealand's shipments are made by sea, sea transport plays a large role in national distribution of cargo as well as import and export of goods. However, as supply chains between New Zealand and China have become more tighter, the Covid pandemic has caused significant disruption to New Zealand's trade. It has also caused heavier regulation and procedures of import and export, severe lack of internal and external resources and higher volatility of global supply chain. Therefore, this study evaluated comparative operational efficiencies of 11 major ports in New Zealand by using DEA and MPI. Total equity and liabilities were selected as inputs and revenue and gross profit as outputs. It examined the current state of New Zealand ports' performance operations by evaluating port operational efficiency in 2019 and 2020 and performed trend analysis on financial productivity of 11 ports for 9 years from 2012 to 2020. This study aims to enhance competitiveness of New Zealand's logistics industry and to revitalize the main ports.

Can Tho City, the fifth largest city in Vietnam and located at the hub of the Mekong Delta region, is located 160km west of Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam, and the southern part of the Hasu River, the first tributary of the Mekong River. The area is 1,439 ㎢, and the climate is hot and humid and the topography is flat, making it an environment suitable for agricultural and marine product production. Agricultural products, a major item of Vietnam's primary industry, are a major handling item in the Mekong Delta region, including Can Tho City. In order to determine the direction for the development of logistics development in the Mekong Delta region and Can Tho City, field surveys and detailed data surveys, consultations with related organizations such as Can Tho City, and development experiences and opinions of Korean companies that have entered Vietnam were listened to. As a result, building an Agricultural Products Processing Center (APC) was identified as a priority. As a result of the AHP analysis, in the major categories, ‘securing infrastructure’ was rated as 0.642, which was evaluated as overwhelmingly more important than other items. Next, ‘preparation of government support policy’ was 0.188, and ‘establishment of smart logistics operating system’ was 0.170. In the sub-category of securing major category infrastructure, 'transport network connected to logistics center' was evaluated as 0.383, the most important item, followed by 'storage facility' (0.241), 'gathering and delivery facility' (0.233), and 'support facility' (0.143). Subsequently, based on the results of the AHP survey, this study presented the development strategies for the agricultural logistics center in Can Tho City by dividing it into short-term, mid-term, and long-term. In the short term, it was proposed to focus on building logistics center infrastructure and linked transportation infrastructure, and in the mid term, an efficient system operation plan for agricultural logistics center was suggested. In the long term, support policies for companies using agricultural logistics center and the establishment of food industry clusters in the hinterland were proposed. This study presents a strategy for promoting an agricultural logistics center in Can Tho City, the central city of the Mekong Delta region. It is expected that it will be used as a reference material.

This study investigated and studied Chinese perceptions of Korea. It is necessary to take into account the characteristics of the sample, which has a high proportion of Chinese living in Korea and many in their 20s and 30s. The correlation between impressions, trust, national power, Korea-China relations, and perception of trade according to the period of Chinese residence in Korea was analyzed. All of the analysis results were correlated. It was confirmed that the longer the period of residence in Korea, the more positive there was a correlation between increase, trust, trade, and Korea-China relations, and there was a negative correlation with national power. As a result of the study, the longer Chinese live in Korea, the better their understanding of Korea and hope to improve friendly relations and trade between the two countries. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a long-term strategy for public relations through the attraction and systematic management of Chinese international students.

With the advent of the untact era due to COVID-19, demand in the existing online market and the courier and logistics industry is accelerating. At the same time, the problem of decreasing available labor force due to decreasing population growth rate and aging is growing, causing difficulties due to labor shortage. In this paper, we examine the patent application trends of unmanned delivery systems by country, technology, and major applicants, and identify the degree of patent activity of major companies through index analysis. To this end, we analyzed domestic and foreign patents on unmanned delivery robot technology filed up to July 2021, and classified them according to the technology classification system to present the outlook of unmanned delivery technology. The analysis showed that robots, drones, and unmanned delivery boxes, which combine IoT technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution based on last-mile delivery technology, are expanding their scope of use. In addition, the development of cooperative delivery services combining robots and drones is expected, and the differentiation of delivery costs between rapid delivery by drones and regular delivery by robots is expected. This paper is expected to raise awareness of unmanned delivery technology among related companies and researchers, and to serve as a reference for future research and development for efficient last-mile delivery

Reverse logistics network design is a strategic level of decision-making, and the recovery process of abandoned vehicles is inseparable from the support of a complete reverse logistics network. Against the backdrop of the green economy and the circular economy, this study designed a waste vehicle reverse logistics network under two constraints: carbon tax policy and carbon transaction market policy, respectively, and established a multi-purpose mixed integer linear plan model to minimize carbon emissions and costs. In addition, using a Chinese automobile manufacturer as an example, the results of the model of maximizing economic effects (i.e., minimizing costs) and maximizing environmental effects by conducting case verification and using lingo 11.0 are as follows. First, the cost of transportation using pure electric vehicles under the same carbon emission policy is lower than using fuel cars. Second, under the two carbon policies, carbon trading policies have a better emission reduction effect and lower network operating costs. Third, we found that transactional carbon constraints help companies reduce costs and reduce carbon emissions, and help shape long-term, even image-oriented, corporate behavior. By analyzing the optimization of China's waste vehicle reverse logistics network, this study promotes the sustainable and sound development of Chinese waste vehicle recovery companies and realizes the double benefits of the economic environment. There is a certain significance in the research and practice of developing reverse logistics activities in academia

Live Commerce is a new online shopping method that is more convenient than traditional online shopping through real-time communication, proxy experience of products or services, and various products, and can give great satisfaction while receiving more trust from consumers. In addition, due to COVID-19, untact consumption methods have been actively developed, and live commerce has achieved massive explosive growth in China. This study conducted an online survey of users using China TikTok live commerce. The collected questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and Amos 22.0. This study analyzed the impact of Tik Tok, a popular live commerce platform in China, on consumer sustainability intention using the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM). As for the empirical analysis results, the expanded technology acceptance model has better predictive and explanatory power due to the introduction of external factor interactions. Interaction was found to have a significant effect on perceived pleasure, ease, usefulness, and reliability. The respondents of this study are all familiar with online shopping because they are more than 80% young, and the perceived ease of online shopping is less important than the initial technology acceptance model, and the perceived ease has no statistical significance in satisfaction.

This paper is the results of studies of subjects that accord with the recent digital transformation, digital twin, sharing economy, logistics O2O, logistics digital platform, etc., and can be jointly used and can collaborate with AI, Big Data, AMR, AGV, UAM, etc. The core studied field is the logistics digital sharing platform(LDSP) business model, which is called an online-based logistics sharing economy business model. Based on South Korean LDSP, the models in the same field were studied with companies representing the United States, Japan, and China. Due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of studies abroad, studies were conducted with online, bibliographic studies, studies in which experts in the relevant country participated, and the heads of South Korean corporations installed in the relevant countries through general and in-depth interviews. Using the business model canvas(BMC) as a research methodology, nine components of the BMC were used as a means of comparison of LDSP business models by country as key factors. As a result of the study, differences were derived from components VP, CRM, RS, KA, and KP in the LDSPs in South Korea and the United States, and differences in components VP, CRM, RS, and KR were studied in the Japanese LDSP. In comparison with LDSP in China, differences were derived from components VP, CRM, and KA.

In modern society, with the increasing number of online shopping platforms and their development, various platforms have also launched logistics services such as same-day delivery and morning delivery, and the competition among platforms has become more intense. Therefore, it is necessary to study the influence of logistics service quality, user satisfaction and trust on user repurchase intention. In addition, the flexibility of platform logistics services is an important boost to help the platform succeed and meet the needs of different groups, but there is currently a lack of relevant demonstration research. Therefore, based on the theoretical background of logistics service quality in online shopping, this study combines order quality, delivery quality, information quality, customer service and the flexibility of the Coupang shopping platform to construct a research model and establish hypotheses. From January 6 to February 3, 2023, a questionnaire survey was conducted in the form of a Google questionnaire for Coupang users with experience in using and purchasing. At the end of the investigation, a total of 500 questionnaires were received, except for 47 questionnaires with no purchase history and 49 dishonest ones, the remaining 404 questionnaires were statistically analyzed using SPSS, and finally analyzed. The results of this study show that, first of all, in terms of logistics service quality, order quality, delivery quality, customer service, and flexibility have certain positive (+) effects on satisfaction. However, information quality did not affect satisfaction. This means that the quality of information related to orders, transactions, and logistics on the platform cannot meet consumers’ expectations. Second, the quality of logistics services has a positive (+) impact on information products. Third, satisfaction and trust have a positive (+) impact on all users’ repurchase intentions. Many people are likely to become loyal users of the platform. This study reveals a causal relationship between flexibility and satisfaction and trust, with important implications. And it proves that consumers’ repurchase intention is based on excellent product and logistics service quality

The port areas in the metropolitan area maintain higher concentrations of air pollution throughout the year compared to other port areas, so air pollution management is urgently needed. Air pollutant emissions from ports in the metropolitan area were analyzed to be more than twice the national average. Despite these circumstances, analyses and studies on the sustainable and feasible port air quality improvement policy measures for the port areas in the metropolitan area are insufficient. In this respect, the purpose of this study was to derive policy priorities for improving air quality in the metropolitan ports. As for the method of the study, the CFPR (Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relation) method, which can integrate and analyze the opinions of experts, was used. As a result of the analysis, in the overall weight ranking, the first, second, and third places were shown to be the strengthening of the ship fuel sulfur content standard, the expansion of eco-friendly ships, and the expansion of support for ship emission reduction devices, respectively. That is, all of the first, second, and third detailed factors were analyzed as policies related to vessel-oriented air pollutant reduction. In particular, most of the policy items ranked at the top were analyzed as policy factors that require strong regulatory policies, large-scale financial inputs, and government facility subsidy policies. This study has implications in that it presents useful policy measures that can be applied practically to policy makers to improve port air quality.

Previous literature has recognised the importance of port efficiency to port performance, and two popular methodologies of DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and SFA (Stochastic Frontier Analysis) have been widely applied to efficiency evaluation. However, there seems a limitation of lacking objectivity when selecting the variables of inputs and outputs. Meanwhile, as for the largest port in Korea, although many related efficiency studies already exist for Busan Port, most of them are founded on a whole port level basis while seldom on the container terminal level. Therefore, to fill the gap, this paper introduces a PCA (Principal Component Analysis) - DEA approach to research the operational efficiency of nine container terminals of Busan Port with the latest data of 2021. The PCA-DEA port (terminal) evaluation approach is practical and unbiased, and it may have some special practical value for the port industry. Container throughput is set as the output, and 13 variables from three scopes of land, facilities and labour are identified as inputs, followed by PCA which eventually detects three indictors of “No. transfer crane (RMGC) in yard”, “Staff average salary” and “Container freight station (CFS) space” as the core inputs representing the above three dimensions. Then, the DEA (CCR) and DEA (BCC) models are used to gain the assessment results: “PNIT, “PNC” and “HJNC” are DEA efficiency, while others of “HPNT”, “BNCT”, “Jaseongdae”, “Shinseondae”, “Gamman” and “Shin Gamman” are non-DEA efficiency. In addition, to achieve the target efficiency for the non-effective terminals, this paper confirms improvements through Return to Scale (ROS) and input redundancy discussion. This study objectively evaluates port terminals and provides useful data when establishing strategies to strengthen port efficiency and competitiveness in the future.
