This study aims to develop a scientific and practical tool for assessing the influence of the effectiveness of the district system of modernizing and current maintenance of railway tracks. \nMethods. To evaluate the process of introducing modern breakthrough technologies in terms of determining the time costs of work and the degree of their modification, the mathematical modeling method of business processes is used. \nResults. A model of the organization of the mechanized process of capital overhaul of the track was developed, and the economic efficiency of using satellite navigation during capital overhaul of the track was calculated. \nConclusion. Abstract

Aim. This study aims to develop a scientific and practical tool for assessing the influence of the effectiveness of the district system of modernizing and current maintenance of railway tracks. Methods. To evaluate the process of introducing modern breakthrough technologies in terms of determining the time costs of work and the degree of their modification, the mathematical modeling method of business processes is used. Results.
