Online counseling is the development trend of future psychological consultation and the inevitable choice in the era of information society and big data. This paper generalizes the advantages and disadvantages of online counseling from various aspects, drawing the conclusion that video counseling can effectively solve the limitations of online counseling. However, it still need to be constantly improved.
