Cardiorespiratory arrest (CRP) is one of the most prevalent cardiovascular emergencies with morbidity and mortality rates in the world. Thus, the theoretical-practical domain on the theme is essential for good nursing care. The objective of the study is to verify the knowledge of nursing professionals about cardiopulmonary arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This is an integrative literature review carried 2019 through the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), using as keywords "nursing" "cardiorespiratory arrest" and "knowledge" using the operator Boolean "AND". The inclusion requirements were: primary articles that address or knowledge of the nursing staff about cardiopulmonary arrest, published in Portuguese, between the years 2015 to 2019. As exclusion requests: works that do not present in full and that have duplicated. 22 articles were found, of which 7 were selected using the inclusion and exclusion criteria. It can be seen a deficiency in the theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing professionals, especially in the immediate intervention measures. It was found that continuing education was the main strategy advocated by the authors to minimize or deficit of professionals.

This research to describe the perception of the elderly person regarding the nurse’s care in primary health care. It is descriptive study with a qualitative approach carried out with 25 elderly people registered in the Basic Family Health Units in the Western District of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, from September to November 2018, applying a semi-structured questionnaire prepared by the authors. The data collected were works using the thematic analysis technique. Most of the research participants reported satisfaction with the nurse's care, reporting good experiences and proximity to the family, others reported difficulties in communication, lack of connection and insufficient health education guidelines and activities. It is understood that the figure of the professional nurse is of great value, it is who will make the nurse-patient relationship possible, enabling the family to practice care and providing an understanding of its importance and responsibility. It is concluded that despite a satisfactory care, the elderly's view of the nurse in primary care was sometimes reduced to care related to programs, with no peculiarity in care for the elderly.
