Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Combined Disaster Management 人工智能(AI)在综合灾害管理中的作用

Disaster management is an important part in case of catastrophe for the wellbeing of humanity to save them from severe effects. For active disaster management combined approaches may be used such as applications of artificial intelligence, e.g. geographical analysis, risk mapping and tracking, obscure sensing ability, advance technologies for drone and machine learning and urban planning based on smart cities technology, analysis of hotspots and analysis of environmental impacts are modern technologies which needs to be studied more in the context of disaster management. Researchers of social sciences used different procedures and technology to analyze the hazards, risks and catastrophe between disciplinal.They utilized empirical and evaluative collection of data and itsanalysis techniques. The current study is an overview of present applications of AI being helpful in disaster management throughout its tetrahedral states. AI is important in all states of disaster management as it's a faster solution than other technologies. Integration of two basic supportive tools which are Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographically Information System (GIS) in disaster management provides higher level of planning and its analysis. It can help authorities to take quick and effective decisions in case of natural disaster.

Principals’ Administrative Behaviour in Nigerian Secondary Schools: Challenges and Remedies 尼日利亚中学校长行政行为:挑战与对策

The principal administrative behavior serves as a motivator whose effectiveness in school business requires focus and commitment. Actualizing the organization goal often poses severe challenge toadministrators. This paper is therefore designed to examine the various challenges facing principals’ administrative behavior in Nigerian secondary schools. The paper focuses on concept of principal administrative behavior, school principals’ tasks in the realization of educational aims, factors hindering principals’ administrative behavior in school administration, relevance of principals’ administrative behavior in school administration. Based on this, it was recommended that conferences, seminars and workshops and other staff development programs should be sponsored by the government to serve as motivational strategies for secondary school principals. Also, persistent change in educational policies should be guided against by the government to ensure consistency in educational system.Government should endeavor to provide to schools the educational resources which will improve principals’ administrative behavior effectively and efficiently.

Socio-Economic Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Nigerian Worker: An Empirical Analysis COVID-19大流行对尼日利亚工人的社会经济影响:实证分析

The current study investigated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on workers in Nigeria from a socioeconomic standpoint. Nigeria remains one of the most highly affected countries on the African continent; hence the Nigerian government has emulated other countries in taking measures to curtail the spread of the pandemic. These measures include but are not limited to lockdown orders, due to which individuals stop going to work, as well as the closure of factories and businesses. The lockdown order has been applauded for being effective in curtailing the spread of the virus; however, it is deemed to adversely affect the Nigerian workers in both the public and private sectors. Many authors have contributed to literature related to the COVID-19 pandemic, but there is still a paucity of literature investigating the socio-economic effect of the lockdown order on Nigerian workers. To the best of our knowledge, there is no empirical study that investigates the COVID-19 pandemic and its socio-economic impact on civil servants and bankers. The study adopted a survey research design and primary data gathered through the survey was analyzed. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire, which was filled in online using Google Forms. The collected data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) and t-test statistical tools. The findings of the study revealed that COVID-19 has an inverse and minimal effect on the socio-economic condition of public and private sector workers. The research proposed, among other things, that the government should place mechanisms to curb excessive price increase of products and services, ensuring that workers in both the public and private sectors are not exploited during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Workforce Competency Models for Multiple Construction Projects: A Review 多建筑项目的劳动力胜任力模型综述

In recent decades, several definitions of competency have been presented by prominent thinkersand scholars of this field, each of them deals with the competency from a certain angle andexpressed different dimensions. Furthermore, the competency approach in human resourcemanagement (HRM) is not a new trend, and the subject of competence is a very old subjectmatter. On the contrary, human resource competence is one of the most important issues of anyorganization, which includes diverse, attractive and, simultaneously, sophisticated topics. Today,due to the dramatic changes in the field of HRM and the trend of managers to meritocracy in theorganization, the planning of an organization based on competency has a special place. Differentstudies in this field show that the necessity to pay attention to the mission perspective, strategy,organizational goals and structure will be an integral part in the successful assignment of humanresources and, without regard to this, the organization's approach cannot be determined. The useof human resource competency models in multiple construction projects requires a majorparadigm, which in HRM literature refers to the competency-based human resource management(CBHRM), and changes the thinking of human resource managers across individuals andorganizations, generally. This competency-based management approach is a coherent approachfor managing human capital in the long term, based on a common set of competency modelsrelated to the macro strategies of each project in this field. In this paper, the researcher initiallyreviewed the diversity of conceptual frameworks and components of competency models inconstruction projects. Then, the competency models of the project manager, civil engineer, andconstruction foreman and worker are identified in project-oriented organizations. At the end ofthe research, a set of competencies of professional, ethical, cultural and social behaviour ispresented in a variety of competency models.
