Information on the Internet has been increased extremely because of CGM (consumer generated media). However, such information sent by ordinary users is not managed systematically, so utilizing it is difficult especially for the beginners. To solve this issue, by identifying relationships between different information, a system should present related information for the users simultaneously. Although the existing methods such as natural language processing can evaluate the similarities of different texts, latest information or other multimedia contents, e.g., pictures, movies, etc, are difficult to evaluate. Therefore, similarities of propagation forms on a social network are proposed to utilize for extracting relationships of information. A preliminary experiment was carried out for evaluating relationships of similarity and complement can be obtained by the similarities of propagation forms of information. As a result, the messages that have many duplicate links tend to be similar, and the rate of coincidence of the directions is expected to extract complementary relationships of information.

The Internet is becoming an immense organism of composite, highly distributed, pervasive, communication intensive services. For such a system to operate effectively, a sensible dialogue between users, services and the network components must proceed constantly based on mutual observation, self-observation, and adaptive and distributed feedback control. We review issues such as network "situational awareness", self-organisation, and structure, and relate these concepts to research on autonomic communication systems. We discuss how this vision can benefit from techniques that have been experimented in the cognitive packet network (CPN) test-bed at Imperial College, which dynamically routes traffic using on-line monitoring, based on users' QoS needs and the network's objectives.

Different technologies are emerging for developing multi-tier enterprise Web-based applications. Among them are Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and the .NET Framework. Both support XML-based Web Services and offer related features. This panel explores the future of these technologies and identifies the issues and strategies underlying their use and evolution. NE of the most rapid areas of change for software technology today is in frameworks to support Web applications. As industry increases focus on commercial utilization of the Web, framework providers vie for developer buy-in through promise of improved support. Today a vast majority of Web-centric applications are hosted on Java solutions. But, technology advances in the recent release of Visual Studio .NET and its underlying framework promise to significantly impact market balance. Suppose you are in the situation today of selecting the platform for a new project aimed at providing Web presence to augment your company's retail offerings. The server-side options available to you are broad and represent significantly different approaches. The original approach of scripting through common gateway interface has largely been replaced by more efficient technologies represented by Java Server Pages and Servlets. Recent development platforms, however, present options where a good decision may depend upon characteristics of your application, as well as aspects of the technology framework. What application characteristics must you consider and how can you compare alternative frameworks? Web Services is an emerging technology that utilizes HTTP and XML to provide network-wide access to an Object's methods. The vision includes exposing business related services to potential consumers thus facilitating business-to- business cooperation. The model equally supports business to consumer communications, and is amenable to multiple cost models, including pay-per-use, subscription and freely available services. Interoperability among Web Service platforms promises platform, language and infrastructure

Context-aware application should behave suitably according to the changing context of the pervasive computing environment. Several programming paradigms and languages have been proposed to facilitate development of context-aware application, but they are either lack of sufficient flexibility or somewhat complex to program. A table-driven programming paradigm is proposed in this paper to overcome shortcomings of those approaches. Virtual tables constructed and maintained by system connect knowledge of both developer and space manager while separate dependency between context and application logic from base program. Validation and evaluation show that the paradigm is easy to be implemented and deployed, meanwhile brings better usability and adaptability.
