Today, yoga is practiced by more people worldwide than it was in the nineteenth century, especially as a medical approach and a way to assist in potentially healing different health problems. Yoga is a productive way for people to achieve mental health, relieve stress and live a more fulfilling life. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a sense of panic and fear, which has translated in various ways amongst individuals. Integrative yoga therapy has become more of a medical approach as people seek more natural and practical methods to solve depression and anxiety. Yoga teaches an individual to focus more on the parasympathetic system; through yoga, one will focus more on accepting circumstances rather than fleeing or fighting back. The deep breathing practice enables one to develop mindfulness, thus calming the nervous system and, in turn, enhancing mental wellbeing. Science and research have proven the positive effect of integrative yoga on health when used in medical approach. This paper discusses the three major phases of the yoga process, i.e., physical postures, the phase of recognition of the psychophysical effects, and the spiritual phase. Qigong is a traditional method of exercise in China and is effective in maintaining physical and mental health, and even in curing diseases. There are many reports about the beneficial effects of Qigong while the underlying functional mechanism has not been systematically explored at the molecular and cellular levels. In this study, we examined the effect of Qigong on gene expressions of mouse M-1 cells using the quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and the transcriptome sequencing technology. Analysis result showed that several genes were upregulated the expression level related to cell proliferation and apoptosis by Qigong treatment. Enrichment analysis of Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) showed that DEGs are related to many important signaling pathways in cells such as PI3K/AKT, and up-regulated DEGs are beneficial to cell growth, resistance to oxidative damage and apoptosis in vitro. Our study provided some important molecular insights into the positive effect of Qigong, which will help to comprehensively understand the biological mechanism of Qigong on human health and promote the application of Qigong treatment and the related research. Covid-19 the disease takes its origin by November 2019 devastates the life of many people globally, isolates everyone from employment, education, earning and from family member droplet infection, end in emergency and depleting one’s health. Amidst in grief everyone has to follow precautionary measures like social distancing, self-quarantine, wearing masks frequently washing hands, contribute oneself towards discipline leads the way of happiness and longevity of life. Work off by quarantine is like being in prison and spends life in loneliness as stressful exposure to all. Contribute yourself to self-discipline leads the way to happiness peace and longevity of life. Moral values yoga prayers Meditation Pranayama positive thoughts and quality time, all these combined therapies work remarkably well in people tested positive for Covid-19. Certain ways to realize the value of life by the code of discipline followed by our ancestors. Great time has been created to look back or alarm ourselves to take a concern over our health. Contribute yourself towards self-discipline leads the way to happiness peace and longevity of life.
