: This study aims to determine the client's personal development and adjustment in the community after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. The method used in this research is qualitative, single-case experiment. The assessment techniques used in this study are interviews, observations, and psychological tests conducted by researchers on the client with schizophrenia. Based on the results of the assessment, the diagnosis, and the prognosis, an intervention is given to the client. The intervention given is behavior activation therapy. That is, a process whereby an individual diagnosed with schizophrenia is encouraged to develop himself and adjust to society by doing daily activities that he has never done before. The client, who was a 24-year-old male, relapsed 4 times in a period of 4 years. After the intervention and monitoring of daily activities of the client and follow-up, the results showed that the client could perform daily activities such as praying, cooking rice, doing exercise, cleaning the house, washing clothes, watering plants, taking medicine regularly and even improving his ability by working in a mattress factory. Understanding the client's potential is useful and helps increase his self-confidence. The client also managed to change his condition by increasing his contribution, from previously only useful for a few people, to be useful for many people. The client chose a new activity by working at home selling fried sausages and fruit juice in front of the house.

: Each tribe has a unique culture regarding the process of marriage; one of those is the Buginese in South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. This tribe has a tradition by giving uang panai’ ( money from the man (the groom) to the woman (the bride) as one of the main requirements before running the marriage’s process). This research aims to recognize the attitude held by Buginese women towards uang panai’ . This study involves 111 Buginese women aged 18-28 years, who are living in Sulawesi and not married yet, as the research subjects. The data collecting process used a purposive sampling method and attitude questionnaire, which is arranged based on Baron and Byrne's attitude theory. Based on the results, it was known that Buginese women acknowledged uang panai’ as an important part of the process of marriage party purposes. The respondents claim that they feel happy if they get married to a man who could give uang panai’ as requested even though they do not know that man beforehand. Therefore, Buginese women have a great tendency to fully agree with the high determination of that uang panai’ .

: Both Christian and Chinese societies value obedience to authority. Among them, Christianity regards God, religious norms, and religious leaders as models to be followed by adherents. In Chinese society, parents are regarded as extensions of the authoritative relationship, which emphasizes hierarchical relationships. People in the upper levels are the authority in all kinds of relationships, and obedience to authority is one of the fundamental moral standards in Chinese societies. The purpose of this study is to understand the cultural contexts and psychological connotation of Christians’ individual psychological mechanisms for religious authority and their obedience in Chinese society. The study uses purposive sampling to recruit one participant with a more religious attitude for interviews. Phenomenology is the research paradigm of this study to extract and to restore the participants' experiences in religion, to describe their life experience in order to understand their interpretation of religious authority. The results show that religious authority has a certain degree of influence on Christian daily life, the Bible is the only and supreme standard in Christianity, and it was passed on to believers by family and church leaders. Differences between authority and Christian values also create contradictions and doubts in Christians even to produce the guilt and pain of breaking commandments and teachings. Obeying God will have a significant impact on believers; it usually comes with positive effects. Christians believe that obeying God helps believers reduce risk and make the best choice which suits them. God sometimes asks someone to sacrifice himself to obey God's will, which usually brings pain, struggle, and guilt to believers. However, the ultimate result of obedience is often calm and spiritual growth.

: Family is a small unit in a society that has its own system. Family members interact and help each other in their daily lives. When one of its family members suffers from a chronic illness, it is susceptible to get psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of family-based interventions in dealing with psychological problems in patients with chronic diseases. This research is based on a literature review of articles and journals obtained from various sources by looking at the suitability of the discussion. The results of this study indicate that family-based interventions are effective in reducing anxiety and depression in chronic disease patients. This study also has limitations in which it is still a lack of references included to see the effectiveness of interventions in more detail.

This review presents accurate research results in complex adolescent literature and further clarifies that emotional intelligence is fundamental in adolescent development and has an essential role in developmental stages. 15 journals are used to review national and international publications from 2004-2018. Reviewed from gender differences, teenage boys have low levels of emotional intelligence than teenage girls. Emotions strongly affect the behavior of adolescents in developmental phases. High emotional intelligence has an impact on the process of good social interaction, the establishment of a good self-concept, the decrease of juvenile delinquency, and the enhancement of academic abilities. Adolescents who have low emotional intelligent tend to behave poorly, commit deviations and violations to themselves, such as frustration, conflicting irregularities, and exacerbating mental health. Therefore, emotional intelligence that teenagers possess can develop their social relationships, reduce their stress and frustration, increase their understanding of other people's emotions, and prevent or reduce the behavior of delinquency. The role of this emotional intelligence can be developed in an educational or clinical setting and has implications for parents and teachers.
