STUDIES ON EXTRACTION, ISOLATION AND APPLICATIONS OF LYCOPENE 番茄红素的提取、分离及应用研究

: Lycopene is a member of the carotenoid family of chemical substances. Lycopeneis similar to carotenoids is a natural fat soluble pigment. It is principally responsible for the characteristic deep-red color of ripe fruits. It is found in certain plants and micro-organisms, which protect them against the toxic effect. The extraction of lycopene was carried using watermelon. The identification of isolated lycopene observed by using various tests like U.V spectroscopy and TLC. The U.V analysis results reportedhat the lycopene content in watermelon was0.6037 mg/ml. TLC analysis reported the Rf value of lycopene was 0.8857. It is reported that H 2 O 2 cause oxidative damage to the DNA and RNA. In this study lycopene employed to protect standard DNA and RNA sample from oxidative damage.It is concluded that lycopene had protective role in oxidative damage of DNA and RNA.

FORMULATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ROSUVASTATIN CALCIUM NANOPARTICLES 瑞舒伐他汀钙纳米粒的制备与表征

Article history The aim of this study is to formulate and characterize Rosuvastatin loaded Chitosan nanoparticles prepared by ionic-gelation method. Rosuvastatin Calcium has a low bioavailability (20%) due to poor absorption of the drug. Chitosan is a polymer of linear polysaccharide, which enhances transport of drug across epithelial surfaces and is biocompatible and biodegradable. The nanoparticles obtained were evaluated for percentage yield of drug, drug entrapment efficiency, particle size and morphology using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), compatibility studies using Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and in vitro release kinetics. Among the four different drug to polymer ratios, 1:1 ratio showed high encapsulation efficiency and drug loading. The nanoparticles obtained were spherical in shape with a smooth surface with particle size range between 231.52 ± 24.12 nm to 405.25 ± 17.42 nm. The nanoparticles prepared proved to be a promising dosage form of Rosuvastatin, with improved bioavailability.

Community Based Training is an on-site training program tailored to an employer’s specific hiring needs. The training takes place in the actual work area in the workplace, and a professionally trained job coach is located on-site to provide additional support in training. The study was conducted in Keble 05 Debre markos town found in Amhara region, East Gojjam Zone, which is located 299 km for away from Addis Ababa and 265 km away from Bihar Dar town. The Administration has 8 sefer the keble has 8551 population of these 4447 were female and 4104 male, its climate condition, woynadega and had 45 government and private health institution. The aim of the study was to assess the community health status and health related condition in Keble 05 Debre Markos town, East Gojjam Zone, Ethiopia,2013. Method: Community based cross sectional survey conducted from 25/08/2013-24/09/2013 by using interviewer administrative questioner and observation. The study conducted in urban population Keble 05 Debire markos town. Result: The cross sectional descriptive study, 94% of house hold in the keble had latrine facility Among this 50% of house don’t have hand washing facility connected with latrine among women who were pregnant 100% were attained at least 1st ANC and 90 of them deliver in the health facility from breast feeding 18% of children stop breast feeding before the age of 6 month and early and late feeding also present in 9% of children. Conclusion: Most of the house hold in the kebel had latrine constructed but most of them had no hand washing facility connected with latrine and low coverage of solid and liquid waste disposal system. There were also different problems like low immunization coverage’s, low family planning, utilization poor wining and exclusive breast feeding

METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF STABILITY INDICATING RP-HPLC METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ESTIMATION OF THIOCOLCHICOSIDE AND DICLOFENAC IN BULK AND ITS PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATIONS 同时测定硫代秋水仙苷和双氯芬酸原料药及其制剂中含量的反相高效液相色谱法的建立和稳定性验证

A rapid and sensitive Reverse Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatographic [RP-HPLC] method was developed for the estimation of Thiocolchicoside and Aceclofenac 1,2,3 in pure and its tablet dosage forms. The method was validated as per International Conference on Harmonization [ICH] guidelines 35 . A C18 column (250×4.6mm, 5μm) was used with a mobile phase containing a mixture of potassium phosphate monohydrate buffer (pH-5.0): Acetonitrile: Methanol in the ratio of 40:20:40 % v/v. The analysis was performed with run time of 6 minutes at a flow rate of 1ml/min. The Thiocolchicoside and Aceclofenac was monitored at 263nm with UV detection and Thiocolchicoside and Aceclofenac was eluted at 2.8 min and 4.2 min. The method was linear (r2 =0.999) at concentration ranging from 7.5 to 25μg/ml for Thiocolchicoside and 100-300µg/ml for Aceclofenac, precise (intra-day relative standard deviation [RSD] and inter-day RSD values < 1.0%), accurate (99.3 to 100.9 for Thiocolchicoside and 100.1 to 100.6 for Aceclofenac), specific and robust. Detection limit of 0.82 for Thiocolchicoside and 8.73 μg/ml for Aceclofenac. Similarly quantification limits were 2.49 for Thiocolchicoside and 26.45 for Aceclofenac μg/ml, estimated from linearity by regression respectively. The results showed that the proposed method is suitable for the precise, accurate and rapid determination of Thiocolchicoside and Aceclofeanc in bulk, its combined dosage forms.

An unknown impurity in the bulk drug daunorubicin hydrochloride observed at 1.79 RRT was detected by the means of reverse phase isocratic High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This impurity was isolated, enriched and was subjected to mass and NMR spectral studies. Based on the spectral data the impurity was identified as (8S,10S)-8-ethyl-10-((2S,4S,5S,6S)-4-amino- 5-hydroxy-6-methyl-oxan-2-yl)oxy-6,8,11-trihydroxy-1-methoxy-9,10-dihydro-7H-tetracene-5,12- dione also known as 13-deoxy-daunorubicin.
采用反相等容高效液相色谱法对原料药盐酸柔红霉素中RRT值为1.79的未知杂质进行了检测。该杂质被分离、富集并进行了质谱和核磁共振谱研究。根据光谱数据鉴定该杂质为(8S,10S)-8-乙基-10-((2S,4S,5S,6S)-4-氨基-5 -羟基-6-甲基-氧-2-基)氧-6,8,11-三羟基-1-甲氧基-9,10-二氢- 7h -四烯-5,12-二酮,又称13-脱氧柔红霉素。
