Role of the School Heads in building Educational Leadership and Capacity of Teachers in District Mardan 校长在地区教育领导及教师能力建设中的角色

This research study was a mixed method design which was initiated to study the analysis of the role of School Heads in building educational leadership capacity of teachers at school levels in District Mardan. This study was based on primary data, the data which was collected through questionnaires and interviews from Teachers and Principals of the schools in district Mardan. The sample of data was consisted of 15 High and Higher Secondary Schools. The data was collected from 15 Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools where 60 Teachers and 15 Principals/Head-masters were respondents of this research study. Convenient and snowball sampling techniques were used for the selection of study respondents. Using REACH model, the results indicated that risk-taking, effectiveness, autonomy, collegiality and honor were considered as indicators of leadership at school teachers, and all the qualities were found in school teachers of District Mardan. This study also found that motivation and support of head-masters play a significant role in building teachers’ capacity and enhancing leadership qualities in them.
本研究采用混合方法设计,旨在研究分析学校校长在马丹区各级教师教育领导能力建设中的作用。本研究以原始资料为基础,透过问卷调查及访谈的方式,对马丹区各学校的教师及校长进行访谈。数据样本由15所高中和高中组成。数据收集自15所中、高等中学,共有60名教师和15名校长/校长作为调查对象。研究对象的选择采用了方便和滚雪球抽样技术。运用REACH模型分析结果表明,学校教师的领导素质以冒险、有效性、自主性、合群性和荣誉性为主要指标,马尔丹区学校教师的领导素质均具备。本研究亦发现,校长的激励与支持对教师能力建设与领导品质提升有显著的作用。

Exploring the Impact of Experiments on Knowledge Workers' Productivity in the Pakistani Software Industry 探索实验对巴基斯坦软件业知识型员工生产力的影响

The world has been changed into global apartment by the innovation of ICT. The concepts of time and distance have been dashed down with the magical clicks of technology. All these supersonic changes are caused by the highest level of competency and latest knowledge of the workforce. The structure of the economy is dynamic and it continues to change with the changes of tide and space; where once organizations were dependent on the productivity of a manual workforce, they are now increasingly depending on the productivity of knowledge workers. Today, knowledge workers account for more than two-thirds of the workforce, and thus should be the centre of focus of strategic plans to improve productivity. The aim of this experimental research study was to explore the impact of suggested factors on knowledge worker productivity. The researcher used the survey method for collection of data with instrument of questionnaire to achieve the objectives of the study. The sample size was consisted of 100 respondents, which were selected randomly from major software firms of Pakistan. Results of descriptive statistics and structural equations modelling (SEM) revealed that independent variables, e.g. on-job-training, workplace, motivation, education and work experience and well-being have a positive effect on knowledge worker productivity. In order to increase the knowledge worker productivity, management requires to betterly understand how to make knowledge workers more productive by examining the factors that affect productivity and by analysing any relationship between the factors and roles.

A Comparative Study of the Relevancy of Western Educational Philosophies and Islamic Philosophies 西方教育哲学与伊斯兰教育哲学的相关性比较研究

Islam is the global and most pragmatic religion which is a complete of life. It is divine religion bestowed with the faculty of furnishing practical and long lasting solution to all encountered problems in an authentic style. There are two schools of thoughts categorizing the religions and its verdicts in its own parameters and perspectives. There are two main titles used for these classifications as Islamic and western views and proofed. These two main classes are further branched as sub categories in light of its practices and principles. The present study describes and evaluates the two prominent western educational philosophies named Perennialism and essentialism with its major components and then a comparative analysis is made with Islamic philosophy. This study extends the logical and literature based proofs about the intersecting similarities between both educational philosophies. The study focuses mainly on the notions of Islamic philosophy and its components. Citations of quranic verses have been cited for validation of sources. The study was qualitative in nature and was based review of literature. The tool of literary discourse analysis was applied for elaboration of reliable differences. Genuine web sites were consulted for authentication of results. Particular Area. The study disclosed that the Islamic philosophical system was more authentic and flexible in terms of knowledge and social relationships. The results of comparison highlighted that we should try to practice the holistic and experiential application of Islamic philosophies for durable enactment of strong relationship between learners and teachers for long lasting social aims and objectives.

Major Factors of Female Dropouts at Different Educational Levels in Mardan 马尔丹不同文化程度女性辍学的主要因素

Education is the fundamental right of every human being. There is imposed no restriction on the basis of gender in any civilized society. Unfortunately, female gender is encountered with countless hurdles and shackles in making their ways to quality education. Female education is considered as a stigma in Asian societies. There are involved numberless factors which are blocking the ways to quality education of females. There has been reported immeasurable dropout of female in different stages of education. In this research study the centre of attention is the female gender and their dropout at different levels in Mardan. As there is a wide literature available with the concern of the student dropout, so by reviewing the literature the research has been done. While going forward in the research, after the literature review, the phenomenological research method, which is actually the one form of qualitative research was adopted in order to enrich the research and to make it more valid and reliable. The researcher has conducted interviews of different male and female educationalists available in Mardan. These interviews helped to get the information about both kinds of people of Mardan, i.e. the original habitants of Mardan and the immigrants who are living in city. The information has been collected on the bases of the experience of the educationalists and their wide observations. All the hypotheses have been tested and accepted. Moving forward the questionnaire has been designed from the qualitative data. With the help of that questionnaire the data have been collected from females of different regions in Mardan. This data has also again been collected from both original habitants of Mardan as well as the immigrants. By the help of collected data the quantitative research has been done. Frequency of every element has been detected separately by using descriptive analysis through SPSS. Finally, conclusions have been made on the basis of the data analysis, which are supporting the hypotheses made for the research study.
