The field of Machine Learning (ML) brought a massive revolution and change in how normal day operations used to happen in various businesses. The idea of ML was quite simple, merging two separate fields, Mathematics and Computer Science. This simple idea is the very reason that so many predictive and classification-based applications exist today. The development of such applications is a time-consuming process and is very computationally heavy because in the corporate world, a very large amount of historical data is used and processed. The training processes such as pre-processing, data engineering and transformations, deep learning, training and testing are themselves time consuming. A very new field of computer science deals with solving this exact problem of time consumption. Quantum Computing (QC) tries to solve these problems by using the concepts of Quantum Mechanics during computations. The QC technology claims to be not only fast in its computational speed but also more efficient and accurate as well. The following article consists of an experiment conducted where a machine learning model is trained in a classical computing environment using K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm versus in a quantum computing environment using Quantum K-Nearest Neighbors (QKNN) algorithm.

Voice evidence is also known as voiceprint like fingerprint, it has been proven to substantiate the findings. Voiceprint is a dissimilar character for different people. In forensic science sometimes, we come across cases where the suspect’s or victim’s ethnicity has to be identified using various number of identification factors like voice, physical and anthropological features etc. In such cases the examination of an individual’s ethnicity may be identified using the other available identification factors but when it comes to the Ethno-Lingual identification then examining the individual’s language for the same and that too without any digital tool, i.e., doing it manually, becomes a sturdy task for the examiner. The database of the voice samples of Hindi, English and Mother language has been successfully created by the authors which is named as the “Automated Criminal Ethnicity Identification System” (ACEIS). In this paper, the author has summarised the various studies conducted on the ethno-lingual identification and their acquisition. Based on the studies, it was concluded in the review that the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was used in prior studied but in India it hasn’t been done yet. When known samples were analysed for their ethnicity, we noticed that an 80% matching was there among the samples belonging from same ethnicity. This matching-percentage was calculated on the basis of Pitch, Amplitude, Formant Frequencies, Frequencies and the average time taken to speak a word/letter etc.

In India, most of them live in the countryside and are engaged in odd jobs. Due to the lack of employment in rural areas, people are migrating to metropolitan areas. Microcredit serves those who are often overlooked in society such as women and the disabled. Microcredit cannot exist without microfinance institutions.     In India microfinance operates through two channels:1. SHG – Bank Linkage Programme (SBLP) 2. Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs). The aim of the present study is to find out the obstacles in the pathway of SHG members in starting, operating, and promoting their businesses. As such a study requires in-depth exploration of SHG member’s conditions, their experiences and the problems they face in operating their business so researcher adopt a qualitative methodology to address the research agenda. The researcher concludes that at the very initial stage SHG members get support from the government in terms of getting guidance about how SHG scheme works and how SHG scheme works but still they face problems due to strict social norms that do not allow them to work beyond the boundaries for their home. Also, psychological issues like lack of confidence, lack of communication skills possess problems in their way. At operational stage training related problems and chances of falling into debt due to frauds and high competition in the market are the biggest problems for them. But major comes at promotional stage and this stage is important because failure at this point will put members in huge losses. SHG members face trouble in selling what they have produce because as per today’s trend they are not able to market products like through online platforms.

A group of vision-impairing eye conditions known as glaucoma damages the optic nerve, which is essential for clear vision. Frequently, the result is abnormally high ocular pressure. One of the leading causes of blindness in adults over 60 is glaucoma. However, it is more prevalent in older persons of all ages. Glaucoma must be diagnosed as soon as possible. This paper presents the Glaucoma Detection System (GDS), which combines classifiers. For the purpose of glaucoma detection, the GAD system employs the Naive Bayes (NB) and Random Forest (RF) classifiers. The major function of the optic disc and cup is to find anomalies in fundus pictures. The optic cup and optic disc are first extracted from the input fundus pictures, and a region of interest (ROI) is then found.

The whole world has seen a change in habits in the past two years due to the discovery of the new corona family virus. The new corona virus is classified by The World Health Organization as Covid-19. Everywhere on the planet we are witnessing confirmed decision-making, curfew, restrictions on people, vaccinations, wearing of masks, etc. This paper aims to show how advancement of Machine Learning have provided excellent tools capable of reducing the number of infections while helping medicine in making decisions about testing infected people, reliability, accuracy of tests. We have improved the existing algorithms to produce software that can be able to do the prediction of evolution of corona virus. The implementation is done through Python language. We ensure that the results produced will be reliable and with fewer errors.

The impedance measurement showed activation energy of 1.3 eV and decrease in dc conductivity with temperature. The high dielectric constant over a wide frequency range is explained as a consequence of concentration of Ni much higher than the percolation threshold. The conductivity mechanism is dominated by tunneling at low frequency and electron hopping at high frequencies. The material suffers a low loss in high frequency range, making it suitable for high frequency magnetic applications.

Even though the energy and utilities industry have trouble integrating new technologies for a long time, the benefits of quantum computing make it worth the trouble. In the past, it has been hard for the utilities industry to use new technology to drive strategic initiatives. But those who do see big improvements in how well they run their businesses. For example, utilities that put a lot of money into digital transformation have the chance to cut their operating costs by about 25%. Quantum computing is a new field of technology that is not as well developed as digital projects, but it is still something that modern renewable energy and utility companies should look into. Quantum computing will give utilities a lot more computing power, which will let them solve business problems that were too hard to try before.

An outbreak of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was reported in Wuhan, China, in 2019. SARS-CoV 2 is genetically similar with SARS-CoV from the 2003 by 79%. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared this outbreak as global pandemic. This pandemic has changed lives of people and also various aspects of the global, public, and private economy. The economic recession in this pandemic are predicted to increase in suicide as well as mental disorders. Awareness on public mental health and strategies to help people get through this difficult time is urgently needed. There is a paucity of literature that provides empirical evidence for the validity or appropriateness of common depression measures. Extensive clinical experience and research is required to fill the gap/lacunae in the existing literature. Taking into consideration of the above points, the current survey was planned to review the psychological distress due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The rapidly increasing number of incidences, severity, its complication, and the socio-economic burden greatly demonstrate the need and importance of the preventive action for type 2 diabetes mellitus. It has been become important to emphasize the call for the primary prevention. Objectives of the study is to assess the awareness of cause complication and prevention of about type 2 diabetes mellitus among young adults, to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of a counselling program regarding causes, complication and prevention for the primary prevention of type 2 Diabetes mellitus, and to find the relationship between socio-demographical variables and level of awareness on diabetes mellitus. For this study an evaluative approach was considered. The pre-experimental design consists of pre-test and post-test observation made on different days with only one selected group and without a control group. The overall mean awareness score present in pre-test is 46.1 and the post-test 82.2% and there was enhancement of knowledge score found to be 36.4%. Therefore, it was established that there was significant increase in the awareness level after the counselling program. From this study it was found that demographic variables like educational status, family income, age group has impact on the knowledge of the respondent. The present study has demonstrated that counselling program is sufficiently effective and viable for achievement of the goal for primary prevention of Diabetes Mellitus in ordinary community

This paper Development of a drug molecule has always been a long and an exclusive process. From preclinical to clinical testing, it takes almost 10-15 years with an expense of almost US$2 Billion. It has been observed that serious challenges faced by researchers resulting in highest rate of failure in development of new drug molecules in clinical research. Seeing these grievances, the US FDA in 2004 introduced a “Critical Path “document highlighting the major decline of the drug development process despite having new advances and technology in biomedical research and the majors to improve the quality and effectiveness of overall drug discovery and development process. Thus, in 2006 a new guidance was issued on Exploratory IND studies by US FDA which is called phase 0 clinical study. It uses the concept of micro dosing. Minimum 30-40% of drugs fail in phase 1 trial due to unfavorable pk and pd. Micro-dosing is a new toolkit used in the drug development process and includes low or minute intake of molecules hardly to show any pharmacological effect when administered by participants and thus, helps in evaluating pk profiles. It shows no therapeutic effect, so chances of adverse reactions are also low. It acts as a bridge between preclinical and clinical study and can be beneficial in reducing extensive use of animal testing. Human screening is conducted to enroll few healthy participants for minimal no. of 7 days for the conduction of phase 0 trial. With recent technology, research and development and advancement, micro dosing has become more and more revolutionary and is emerging as the dormant challenge to be enormously used in more and more drug development process and make a shift to the process in a positive direction. The First emerging development of phase 0 trial can be witnessed in successful oncology trial in patients with progressive malignancies. Results proved to show a good and a well-tolerated bioavailability, and a desirable pharmacokinetics and biochemical data and hence this evidence can be used further to guide the development process and improve the drug development scenario.
