Corresponding to three kinds of historical cognition,t here are three kinds of historical truth which are factual truth,theoretical tr uth and value truth.The common character of each type is general correspondence. In other words,a factual truth is the cognition that a cognitive result answers for objective facts;an theoretical truth is the cognition that a cognitive resul t answers for logical system;and a value truth is the cognition that a cognitive result answers for actual value of subject.Taking experiential facts as the cri terion for judgment,an theoretical truth is tested by theoretical practice.Takin g actual effect as criterion for judgment,a value truth is tested by idealistic practice.
