The Wheatley Medal—the first to be awarded under the new conditions—was presented to Mr. E. L. C. Mullins for his index to A guide to the historical and arch aeological publications of societies in England and Wales 1901-1933 (University of Lon don, Athlone Press, 1968). Mr. K. G. Bakewell introduced Mr. Mullins to the Past President, Mr. Richnell, .who made the pre sentation on behalf of the President.
