Background: In spite of advanced technologies and drug discoveries, morbidity and mortality were undoubtedly increasing in the era of contraception and abortion. Aims: Altruistic correlation of increasing morbidity, mortality, with contraception, abortion was planned for. Methods: In 2012, a retrospective analysis of prevalence of mortality in 350 patients of 20 - 35 years, 35 - 50 years and >50 years from data collected between 2003 and 2012 by convenient, stratified random sampling, from community, hospital, and its association with contraception and abortion status was undertaken; simultaneously, serum estrogen levels obtained from 105 patients were analyzed. In 2014, randomly chosen 8 males, of the 3 age groups, from a different community, whose life partners had undergone sterilization, were assessed for their serum testosterone levels. Results: Contraception users exhibited 3 - 4 fold increased mortality [p 50 years [p < 0.0005]. Endogenous estrogen was reduced in 75% [p < 0.0005] of contraceptive users. Plasma testosterone was reduced in males observing contraception, to less than 50% of normal, e.g. 1.3 ng/ml; 66.6% contraception users aged 20 - 35 years had reduced [p < 0.0005] testosterone; 100% of male contraception users aged 36 - 70 years showed reduced testosterone [p < 0.0005]. Conclusion: The “withered tree akin host” concept is contraception, abortion, with smashed fragmentation of germ cells. Reduced endogenous estrogen, androgen [dried up, destroyed life factors] result in deranged cell metabolism, cell cycle, and defaulted genomic repertoire, leading to failure of all established pharmacological therapeutics, including advanced technologies which yield gratifying results in non contracepted people today and in every one, before the era of contraception; subsets of people, host with contraception, with destroyed life factors, behave helplessly, concerning therapeutic applications, compared with subsets of people, host without contraception, with intact genomic repertoire, God ordained Life factors, make a remarkable recovery. Contraception reversal replants the germ cells [germ cells destruction stops], hormones rejuvenate to 79.9% of age normal, and diseases abate with recovery. Let the medical fraternity and the medical curriculum pave way for this awareness of, wantonly acquired early demise in young parents, by global contraception and abortion similar to “withered tree”, and plan global protocols, policies and strategies, to revert and eradicate global contraception and abortion, destroying young lives in disguise.

When stress is part of the work environment, it is difficult to control stress, which can cause recurrent aggression, and which in turn affects an individual's health and ability to act.  The relationship between workplace stressors, physical and mental health changes of the nurses have been found. A combination of high workplace demands, over-responsibility, and over-authority have been identified major sources of occupational stress among nursing staff. A total of 473 nurses from four tertiary referral hospitals of Mongolia were involved in the study. We employed a Work Stress Profile (WSP) questionnaire of Rice to figure out how nurses perceive and accept stress. The Likert scale was used in measuring the questions. Concerning physical stress factor we measured the level of ?-amylase in the saliva of the nurses using the SALIVA AMYLASE MONITOR 2004, a Japanese device. Fabricated salivary amylase activity monitor consisted of three devices, the salivary transcription device, a testing-strip and an optical analyzer. Firstly, the test-strip was taken and put under the tongue for 30 seconds in the morning. Occasionally, our study was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine period, and we could clearly see that the nurses at National Center for Infectious Diseases are working hard under the urged stressed condition.

Background: Chronic kidney disease can affect different aspects of female patient’s life including menstrual pattern, marital status and sexuality, fertility, pregnancy outcome, and recommended methods of contraception especially when initiated on HD. It is an underestimated problem in both genders and has not been evaluated comprehensively. In Egypt, it has been noticed that it is infrequent for a hemodialysis (HD) female to start her marriage after initiation of HD; this may be attributed to a negative self-image experienced by the patient and perceived by the community. Moreover, it is also less common for an HD patient to marry another HD partner and it is odd for them to conceive during HD. Aim: To describe the possibility of starting family and plan for successful pregnancy during the course of HD therapy in patients with ESRD. Patient Scenario: Our case is a 36 years old Egyptian female who started HD in 1999 and continued on HD for 17 years. She married four times and conceived five times from three husbands. She got live birth only once from her second HD husband, but unfortunately, the baby died within a few days. The patient used Implanon - with its possible side effects- as a method of contraception during her last four years of life. After hectic 17 years under HD and unfortunate marital and fertility events, she decided to withdraw from her dialysis program, chose to live in isolation, and passed away within five days as a consequence of cerebral hemorrhage. Results and Conclusions: If needed, contraception methods must be chosen carefully with a multi-disciplinary discussion between the obstetrician, the patient, the family, and the nephrologist. Fertility and successful pregnancies are believed to be possible in HD couples if they receive proper care.

Background: Lead toxicity is a significant environmental hazard and has widespread ill effects on human body. In this study we detected the lead exposure by measuring urinary delta aminolevulinic acid levels. The activity of delta aminolevulinic acid dehydratase enzyme is inhibited significantly by lead, which leads to an increase in urinary δ- ALA excretion. Hence we can use estimation of urinary δ-ALA levels as a surrogate marker of lead exposure in pottery workers. Aim: To estimate the urinary delta aminolevulinic acid levels in pottery workers as an index of lead exposure. Materials and Methods: The study was done on 85 pottery workers of age group between 18 to 50 years with their brief history related to lead exposure. Their urine samples were analysed for δ-ALA by Ehrlich method. Results: According to our observation, it was found that out of 85 urine samples; 58 samples showed increased urinary δ-ALA levels (68.23%). Conclusion: We conclude that the prevalence of lead exposure in pottery workers in Mumbai is very high. Good hygienic practices and necessary precautions should be followed to avoid its ill effects on human body.
