Sports volunteer service is an important way for university students to participate in social activities. It is also a kind of positive introspection of individuals' life meaning,through which dedication, fraternity,helping each other and progress are achieved.This is in accordance with the socialist core values brought up in the 18th Party Congress, that is : " advocation of the richness and powerfulness, democracy, civilization and harmony; advocation of liberty, equality, justice and rule of law; advocation of patriotism, dedication, sincerity and friendliness. " Therefore, sports volunteer service is an important method of practicing for strengthening the cultivation of university students' socialist core values.

Objective:To investigate the influence of Taiji ball on health physical fitness and biochemical indexes of old people and provide the reference for choosing the suitable and good sport exercise event.Object:Randomly taking 17 old people aged at 60~69 in one community of city as research object.Method:The subjects first finish the 20-days Taiji ball learning,then exercise for 90-days with music after mastering.1~1.5 hour is required for daily exercise and no less than 30min for individual exerciser.Results:the influence of Taiji ball on health physical fitness and biochemical indexes of old people is positive and effective.It has positive function on prevention of senile diseases.Moreover,Taiji ball exercise load and intensity can be adjusted according to body condition,it has no physical confrontation and more suitable for the old people to participate,and can be used as year-round fitness program for the elderly popularization.
