SAR Image Change Detection Based on Multi-scale Feature Extraction 基于多尺度特征提取的SAR图像变化检测

In order to improve the contrast of the difference image and reduce the interference of the speckle noise in the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image, this paper proposes a SAR image change detection algorithm based on multi-scale feature extraction. In this paper, a kernel matrix with weights is used to extract features of two original images, and then the logarithmic ratio method is used to obtain the difference images of two images, and the change area of the images are extracted. Then, the different sizes of kernel matrix are used to extract the abstract features of different scales of the difference image. This operation can make the difference image have a higher contrast. Finally, the cumulative weighted average is obtained to obtain the final difference image, which can further suppress the speckle noise in the image.
为了提高差分图像的对比度,降低SAR图像中散斑噪声的干扰,本文提出了一种基于多尺度特征提取的SAR图像变化检测算法。本文采用带权重的核矩阵对两幅原始图像进行特征提取,然后采用对数比值法得到两幅图像的差值图像,提取图像的变化面积。然后,利用不同大小的核矩阵提取差分图像的不同尺度的抽象特征。这种操作可以使差值图像具有更高的对比度。最后进行累积加权平均,得到最终的差分图像,进一步抑制图像中的散斑噪声。

4G LTE Network Coverage Optimization Using Metaheuristic Approach 基于元启发式方法的4G LTE网络覆盖优化

The main focus of this paper is to optimize the coverage of each 4G LTE network cell within the service area. There are many algorithms can be implemented to determine the optimal 4G LTE coverage area including the deterministic and heuristic approaches. The deterministic approach could solve accurately the optimization problem but need more resources and time consuming to determine the convergence parameters. Therefore, the heuristic approaches were introduced to improve the deterministic approach drawback. The methods used are the Differential Evolution Algorithm (DEA) and Adaptive Mutation Genetic Algorithm (AMGA), which are categorized as metaheuristic approach. The DEA and AMGA algorithms have been widely used to solve combinatorial problems, including for solving the network optimizations. In the network optimization, coverage is strongly related to 2 objectives, which are reducing the black spot area and decreasing the overlapping coverage areas. Coverage overlap is a condition when some cell sites in an area overlap. It implies in the occurrence of hand off and an inefficient network management. This research aims to obtain an optimal 4G LTE network coverage and reduce the overlapping coverage areas based on effective e-Node B arrangements by using the DEA and AMGA algorithms. The simulations results showed that the DEA algorithm’s coverage effectiveness was 23,4%, and the AMGA Algorithm’s was 16,32%.

Product Ownership Management System (POMS) in the Post Supply Chain Using BlockChain 使用区块链的后供应链产品所有权管理系统(POMS)

Nowadays, the authenticity of the RFID tags cannot be assured in the supply chain since these can be easily duplicated in the public space. We propose a novel Product Ownership Management System (POMS) of products for anti-counterfeits that can be used in the post supply chain by using the QR code. With the projected POMS, a consumer can reject the buying of counterfeits by scanning a QR code, if the seller does not have their proprietorship. This paper gives an application of the system that will help to overcome the problems related with the presently functioning supply chain management system and runs the mechanism to show the ownership of the products.

Research on Online Insulation Testing of Power Battery of New Energy Vehicles 新能源汽车动力电池在线绝缘测试研究

The insulation performance of new energy vehicles is an important factor in the normal operation of vehicles. This paper designs a voltage injection-type insulation detection based on the traditional detection.Based on the python language combined with the library provided by NI-visa, it can achieve high integration and meet the national GB/T 18384.1-2015 standard. Experimental results show that the insulation detection system can accurately test the insulation performance of new energy vehicles and meet the new energy vehicle offline detection standards.
新能源汽车的隔热性能是影响车辆正常运行的重要因素。本文在传统绝缘检测方法的基础上,设计了一种电压注入式绝缘检测方法。基于python语言结合NI-visa提供的库,实现高集成度,符合国家GB/T 18384.1-2015标准。实验结果表明,该保温检测系统能够准确检测新能源汽车的保温性能,满足新能源汽车线下检测标准。

Analyzing Brain Activities in Response To Music and Video Stimulants 分析大脑活动对音乐和视频刺激的反应

Studying the effects of different stimulants on the brain is an ongoing research aiming to discover the activities and reactions of the brain. In this sake, we propose a study to show the impact of external stimuli on the human brain. The implementation includes 50 subjects exposed to four various stimuli while recording EEG. First, a control experiment is done where EEG is recorded in the absence of any stimulation. Then, EEG is recorded while the subjects are watching two consecutive sections from nature and violence videos, listening to sections of classical music and then heavy music. The recorded signals are analysed through EEGLAB. The power spectral densities are computed and an analysed. The results showed a decrease in alpha absolute power was observed in 68.1% subjects when watching the nature movie, and in 72.34% subjects when watching the violence video. An increase in alpha and beta absolute power was detected in 70.45% of subjects when listening to the heavy music. Relative power spectral density showed a significant increase of delta rhythm upon watching the video of natural scenes, and a significant increase of alpha rhythm when listening to classical music. ANOVA test is also used to verify if any effect of the stimuli can be observed on each frequency bands. The results showed that the delta rhythm’s highest values were obtained in reaction to the natural scenes video and that there is a significant relationship between alpha rhythms and the stimulus due to Classical music.

: Over time, the development of information technology has produced a variety of applications that provide convenience for humans, such as the application of food delivery. This application was designed from a background of productive individual conditions who have less time to buy food. Gofood is one of the features in the Gojek application that realizes the concept of food delivery. However, this feature does not give consumers the freedom to determine the food arrival time. Consumers did self estimation about the time when placing an order to obtain the arrival time as desired. Based on these weaknesses, Pasti Makan application was designed. This application provides scheduling features so that food ordering can be done at various times and the order will still arrive in accordance with the time specified by the consumer. This research focuses on solving the problem of the arrival time in order delivery. The purpose of this study is that buyers get their orders within the allotted time. This system made by using the PHP programming language and Javascript.

Denoising Algorithm for Medical Ultrasound Image Based on 2D-VDM and PM 基于2D-VDM和PM的医学超声图像去噪算法

: In order to solve the problem of several common methods in medical ultrasound image processing which includes Poor retention of detailed information and insignificant denoising effect, therefore a new method of ultrasonic image denoising combining two-dimensional variational mode decomposition (abbreviated as 2D-VDM) and anisotropic diffusion (abbreviated as PM) is proposed. This method firstly decomposes the image into a series of modal component (IMF) images through two-dimensional variational mode decomposition (2D-VDM),and then uses the peak signal-to-noise ratio and the normalized mean square error to filter out the effective modal components, finally, the effective modal components are subjected to anisotropic diffusion (PM) filter processing and reconstruct the processed effective components to remove image noise.The evaluation of image quality indicators from peak signal-to-noise ratio and root mean square error shows that this method is superior to other commonly used methods in removing noise and protecting detailed information in the image.

: This study proposes a Convolutional neural network model trained from scratch to classify and detect the presence of pneumonia from a collection of chest X-ray image samples. Unlike other methods that rely solely on transfer learning approaches or traditional handcrafted techniques to achieve a remarkable classification performance, we constructed a Convolutional neural network model from scratch to extract features from a given chest X- ray image and classify it to determine if a person is infected with pneumonia. This model could help mitigate the reliability and interpretability challenges often faced when dealing with medical imagery. Unlike other deep learning classification tasks with sufficient image repository, it is difficult to obtain a large amount of pneumonia dataset for this classification task; therefore, we deployed several data augmentation algorithms to improve the validation and classification accuracy of the CNN model and achieved remarkable validation accuracy. Our classification method uses convolutional neural networks for classifying the images and early diagnosis of Pneumonia. Our findings yield an accuracy of 85.73%, surpassing the previously top scoring accuracy of 78.73%.

Assessment of Evidence Based Research on Internet Freedoms in Africa 非洲互联网自由实证研究评估

: The main objective of this work was to identify and map studies relevant to internet freedoms in Africa and analyze them to identify patterns and trends distribution in order to nurture public debate and for due consideration by researchers and policy makers within the region. The need to focus on internet freedoms in Africa is because of limited research contextualizing internet freedoms in this region and challenges with public availability and accessibility of the research evidence. The goal is to enhance learning on the research evidence available that could be relevant in advancing internet policies in Africa. The search for studies on internet freedoms was based on identified themes and indicators of internet freedoms. The study methodology was online desk research with full focus on empirical studies between 2013-2019.

War against Coronavirus (COVID – 19) in Tanzania: Designing a Low Cost Automatic Water Tap 坦桑尼亚对抗冠状病毒(COVID - 19)的战争:设计低成本自动水龙头

In December 2019, an outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2) infection occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China and spread across China and beyond. On February 12, 2020, WHO officially named the disease caused by the novel coronavirus as Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). On January 30, 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 as the sixth public health emergency of international concern. One of the major preventions is frequent hand washing. An attempt has been made to design a low-cost automatic water tap as a measure to fight the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19). The designed system uses simple, easy to get and low cost instruments. The system does not require a user to touch the water tap. It uses microcontroller to implement intelligence. The solar panel is used as a source of power. The system design uses green solution based automatic water tap. The system will be used in gatherings to avoid Coronavirus spreading. Such gathering places include hospitals, markets, bus stops, public transports, churches, mosques, and restaurants.
