On the Status of "Things-in-Themselves" in Kant's Critical Philosophy 论“自在之物”在康德批判哲学中的地位

Kant's distinction between "appearances" and "things-in-themselves" asserts the existence of "things-in-themselves",but due to the limitation of our rationality,we cannot form any knowledge about it,then how can we know their existence,i.e.how to get "other shore from this shore." Therefore,some critics holds that this concept by Kant is the concession to a dogmatically rooted extra-mental reality of a philosophy and is no in consistent to his spirit of critical philosophy.This understanding is wrong,as Kant's things-in-themselves concept is not independent part from the sphere of entity in thinking,but a thinking device,and an inevitable assumption when we human beings think about daily experience.Only by this can we run our concept mechanism,in which the tendency of objectivity plays a vital role.

On the Role of the School 论学校的作用

The role of the school and the function of education are two different but related concepts.The role of the school can be classified into that of education and non-education,and the derivative roles from the two.The educational role of the school includes making the individual socialized and individualized;its non-educational role,or instrumental role,includes serving the macroscopic environment of the society,serving the surrounding microscopic environment,and seeking individual development;the derivative role mainly refers to the accessory effects from educational and non-educational roles.The exertion of the role of the school is conditioned by three major factors: the country,the society and the school proper.The school should fully exert its education function,on the basis of which deals with the relations between the single and plural roles by conditionally choose and tend other roles.Only in this way can the overall effect of the roles of the school be correct.
学校的角色和教育的功能是两个不同但又相关的概念。学校的角色可以分为教育性角色和非教育性角色,以及二者的衍生性角色。学校的教育作用包括使个人社会化、个体化;学校的非教育作用或工具性作用包括为社会宏观环境服务、为周围微观环境服务、谋求个人发展;学校的衍生作用主要是指教育作用和非教育作用的附属作用。学校作用的发挥受国家、社会和学校自身三个主要因素的制约。学校应充分发挥其教育功能,在此基础上有条件地选择和倾向于其他角色,处理好单一角色与多元角色之间的关系。只有这样,学校角色的整体效果才能正确。

Understanding on "Peace" 对“和平”的理解

Peace has been mans finest desire ever since ancient times,and it has become the most frequently used word in the mainstream speech system nowadays that few would neglect its significance for the existence and development of mankind.However,mans cognition of peace is rather illegible and confused.Not only does it possess different connotation in different cultural context,but it is indeed difficult to give an accurate definition to the word of peace.
和平自古以来就是人类最美好的愿望,如今它已成为主流话语系统中使用频率最高的词,很少有人会忽视它对人类生存和发展的意义。然而,人类对和平的认知是相当模糊和混乱的。它不仅在不同的文化语境中具有不同的内涵,而且确实很难给“和平”这个词一个准确的定义。
