The study aims to describe the impact of learning Arabic online and the viewpoint of brain-based learning on these implications. The research used a mixed-method that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to get a real picture of the implementation of online learning from a neurolinguistic perspective, the data is obtained through the results of questionnaires and studied in a neurolinguistic perspective based on the literature on the theme. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to PKPBA students who carried out Arabic learning through online and literature review on neurolinguistic studies. The results of this study are that the Arabic learning process carried out online has good benefits with varied but not optimal patterns of interaction through blended learning. In contrast, according to neurolinguistics, it is stated that at least any model can maintain how the potential of the brain through language habituation must be consistent with the balance of the left and right brain.

Arabic is a second language for some Indonesian students, but in reality, there are still many errors in writing. Especially in the writing of the Hamza letters that have not been mastered properly. Therefore this research was conducted to know the forms of errors in writing Hamza, the causes of errors in writing, and the strategies used to minimize errors in writing Arabic. This study took the first-level learning at the Arabic Language Education Department at IAIN Samarinda as a sample. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection using observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory through data collection processing, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The mistakes that often occur in writing the letters Hamza based on their type are Hamzah Qaṭ'i, Hamzah Waṣl, Hamzah Mutawaṣiṭah, and Hamzah Mutaṭarifah. These errors are based on the lack of knowledge of Arabic writing rules, lack of practice as a form of Arabic writing practice. Meanwhile, the strategy used to minimize these errors is to use a variety of methods in teaching Arabic, also to apply the rules of Imla ', utilize media or multimedia learning, and apply the theory of writing skills gradually. Then give examples of various Arabic writing models, and increase Arabic writing exercises accompanied by proper Arabic writing rules.

The purpose of this study was to reveal the acquisition situation and atmosphere of the speaking skills for Students of KMI Pondok Modern Gontor Ponorogo in the views of the Behaviorism and Cognitivism, the factors influencing the acquisition process of the speaking skills, the linguistics problems in the acquisition process of the speaking skills and the resolutions. This research applied a case study using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data was collected using active participant observation, passive non-participant observation, interviews, and documentaries methods. The Miles Huberman model was then used to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that, first, the situations in the speaking skills acquisition include the language instructional classes situation, the islamic studies instructional classes situation, and the situation of using the language in the extra-curricular and everyday life activities. In those situations, students interactively combined the use both behaviorism and cognitivism theories, although the implementation of behaviorism priciples is more dominant. Moreover, the implementation of both theories was highly supported by the language atmospheres in the classrooms and outside the classrooms, as well as the discipline enforcement in the language implementation. Second, the factors influencing the speaking skills acquisition process among others were the area and situation diversities for doing simulation (practice), imitation and repetitions, the availability of many areas and situations for practicing and building the habit, the presence of a mentor among students, language atmosphere in the classroom, language atmosphere outside the classrooms, the presence of language role models, feedback and reinforcement, the implementation of discipline, court and monitoring board committee, motivation and self-confidence. Third, the linguistic problems in the acquisition process of students’ speaking skills among others were the phonemic system, word arabization, changes in the words meaning, mistakes in the language structure, the use of Indonesian particle and the occurance of local dialect. The resolutions that had been taken by the institution (the boarding school of Gontor) to deal with those problems were correcting the speaking errors, providing language training for the board committee, delivering good language style, providing speaking model, practicing the pronunciation, teaching grammar for middle and upper level students, and giving harder punishment for those who intentionally offended the language practice regulation.

Success in learning Arabic, both in reading skills (qirāʻah), listening (istimā`), speaking (kalām), writing (kitābah) and syntactic abilities (qawāʻid), the role of mastery of morphology (ʻilm sharf) is very decisive. This study aims to find a new learning method that is fun, meaningful, and effective. This type of research is an experiment with the subject of research students of the 2nd semester of Arabic Language and Literature Department 2019/2020 Faculty of Humanities UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. This study indicates that the hijāʻiyah letter formula method makes students excited to learn morphology compared to conventional methods. The test results in the control class and the experimental class, two steps to conclude the independent sample t-test: first, looking at the Equal Variances Assumed, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 α 0.05. Second, based on the comparison between the t-count value of 4.669 t-table of 2.021. From these two decisions, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted; namely, the letter hijāʻiyah formula method has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the morphology subject.

This research titled: “Effect of Learning Simile on Essay Writing Skills of SSI Arabic Secondary Students in Kaduna State, Nigeria,” tried to unravel the subject matter. The research problem emanated from the weaknesses experienced by the researchers in the essay writing of the students in the course of their teaching at secondary levels. Thus, they formulated a research question with the aim of answering it through the usage of the experimental method. As such, they grouped their students into two: experimental and Control group, in which each of the groups consisted of ninety (90) students. The experimental group was taught simile using particular treatment, while the control group was taught conventionally. Consequently, it was vividly clear that those exposed to special treatment performed better than their counterpart in essay writing. Thus, the researchers recommend that: Teachers should give serious attention to the use of special treatment in the course of teaching rhetorics, as this would enhance their performance in writing skills. The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) was also advised to consider what will improve the teaching/learning of rhetorics in the course of their curriculum development and implementation.
