Among 21 cases of COVID-19 infection in our center, median age at diagnosis was 40 ± 12.8 years, and the median interval since transplantation was 4.75 years. Fever (100%) and radiographic abnormalities in form of unilateral or bilateral/multifocal consolidations (80%) were the most common presentations. Macrolide's antibiotics were used in 75% of patient.95% was improved and 4.6% showed mortality, reduction or stoppage of current immunosuppressives were only in 19%.

Fibromuscular dysplasia is a common cause of non-atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis in the young patient population leading to resistant hypertension. This is typically diagnosed radiologically and is often less responsive to endovascular revascularisation given the non-atherosclerotic nature of stenosis. As a result, surgery may be the only durable option for patients whereby hypertension is uncontrolled by medical management.

The new kidney allocation system (KAS) and the Estimated Post Transplant Survival (EPTS) score were introduced in the United States. We here report the case of successful orthotopic liver transplantation (LT) following acute liver failure (ALF) related to sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS). This syndrome is one of the main causes of death early after bone marrow transplantation (BMT); LT seems to be an effective treatment of the most severe forms of SOS but no official recommendation exist about this subject. With this clinical case we would like to show that after careful patient selection and appropriate timing, LT for treatment of severe SOS is safe and effective.
