Navigating the Nexus: Government Policies in Cultivating Religious Moderation Within State Islamic Higher Education 导航关系:在国家伊斯兰高等教育中培养宗教节制的政府政策

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation at the State Islamic Higher Education (PTKIN) in Indonesia through academic policies in the fields of education, research, and community service programs. It is based on the empirical examination of the spread of radical, extreme, and exclusive religious sects among higher education civitas academica in Indonesia. The research combines qualitative and quantitative approaches (mixed methods) simultaneously. Data sources were randomly obtained from leaders, lecturers, and students at PTKIN through interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and focus group discussions. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and data verification, as well as statistical analysis using the t-test with the SPSS 17.0 program. The results show that religious moderation has been promoted through academic policies in education, research, and community services, which aligns with Pancasila values as the Indonesian state philosophy. This finding is strengthened by the acquisition of a significant t-test < 0.05, which indicates that the academic policies provide crucial support for implementing religious moderation at PTKIN. Overall, this study confirms the idea that promoting religious moderation should be seen as a crucial shared agenda since it plays a pivotal role in determining the long-term viability of a country.

The Sufism Healing as an Alternative Rehabilitation for Drug Addicts and Abusers 苏菲主义疗愈作为药物成瘾者和滥用者的另一种康复方法

This research aims to analyze and find the obligation of rehabilitation for drug addicts and abusers from the Islamic perspective and Sufism healing as an alternative rehabilitation for drug addicts. Sufism examines the spiritual aspects of Islam, while healing is the process of recovering from mental illness. This program plan becomes a hypothesis that is worth testing in prison for terrorism prisoners based on qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Sufism healing has long been used to rehabilitate drug users in Islamic Boarding House (pesantren). The research approach in this research is a sociological juridical approach. The findings indicate that, according to an Islamic standpoint, rehabilitating those struggling with drug addiction is deemed obligatory due to the principle of al-Maqashid al-Syariah, which emphasizes the preservation of the mind (al-hifdzu al-aql) as an imperative need. The sufism healing, as a potential alternative approach to rehabilitating those struggling with drug addiction and substance misuse, centers on the objective of cultivating a greater connection with Allah the Almighty through the principles of takhalli, tahalli, and tajalli.

State, Secularism, and the Management of Islamic Proselytizing Movement in Turkiye: The Case of Hayrat Vakfi Organization 国家、世俗主义与土耳其伊斯兰教传教运动的管理:以Hayrat Vakfi组织为例

Da’wa (Islamic proselytizing) is not merely a movement focusing on religious rituals nowadays. It has transformed into organized groups that can mobilize people to become a pressure group in a Muslim democratic country. From several Muslim countries, Türkiye chooses secularism as a state character where religion is properly positioned far from the state. This condition makes the Islamic proselytizing movements in Türkiye differ from other religious movements in some Muslim countries that become the state’s partners in developing the state. This article examines how state, secularism ideas, and Islamic proselytizing movements interplay dynamically in a free public sphere. This article also looks at the management of the Islamic proselytizing movement in Türkiye by focusing on Hayrât Vakfı (Hayrat Foundation) in Türkiye. This research employs an anthropological framework to ethnographically examine the multifaceted relationship between the state and proselytizing movements. This article finds that Hayrât, a Turkish organization, cultivates public trust by prioritizing matters related to humanity, economics, and education. Hayrât intends to show that Islam is not a contradiction to modernity. Finally, the result of this article reveals that the management of the Islamic proselytizing movement in Türkiye shows a multidimensional relationship between secularism, political ideology, and religious movements.

Pesantren Entrepreneurship: Harmonization of the Theories of Kasb Asy’ariyah and Locus of Control on Strengthening Santripreneur 企业家精神:Kasb Asy 'ariyah理论与控制点理论对加强企业家精神的协调

From the innovation among pesantrens, students need not only Islamic religious learning but also entrepreneurial skills. This research explores the entrepreneurship learning model that had been developed by Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul Jannah Pacet and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan and examines the effectiveness of pesantren entrepreneurs. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. In order to obtain the data validity, the data triangulation method supported by documentation and observation was employed by conducting interviews with kyai, asatidz, santri, and graduate users. The research objects were Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul Jannah and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan; both are pioneers in developing pesantren entrepreneurs in Indonesia. This study showed that pesantren entrepreneurs are able to equip and encourage students to get careers towards prosperity. By harmonizing the theories of Kasb Asy’ariyah and Locus of Control, the focus of this study was on students who were not only capable as mubaligh, but also as entrepreneurs, particularly if they continued their studies at pesantren.
