The application of multi frequency resonant controllers in in a dfig to improve performance by reducing unwanted power and torque pulsations and reducing current harmonics 多频谐振控制器的应用,通过减少不必要的功率和转矩脉动和电流谐波来提高性能

The paper describes a method to control the rotor-side and grid side converters in a DFIG when subjected to the effects of network voltage unbalance conditions. Multi Frequency Resonant Controllers are incorporated into the grid side and rotor side converters to assist in the control functions. The Resonant Controllers are tuned to twice the network frequency to assist in the control of power and torque pulsations and to three times the network frequency to assist in the control of the generated third harmonic currents. A DFIG model is implemented in Matlab/Simulink and simulations show the reduction in power and torque oscillations and a reduction in the 3rd harmonic currents generated as a result of the applied voltage unbalance.

Using Wavelet theory for detection of broken bars in squirrel cage induction motors 利用小波理论对鼠笼式异步电动机断条进行检测

Induction motors, especially squirrel cage motors, have an important role in industry. Their rotor or stator may be failed under stresses depending on their application, and sometimes an unexpected motor failure in a manufacture production process may result in unexpected and unforeseen tripping. So, if the failure can be detected during its operation, there are some methods to prevent failure spread and also manufacture trip. This study aims to model and simulate the squirrel cage induction motor at any operation condition such as healthy condition and broken bars failures in side of rotor, in order to achieve an algorithm for failure detection. So, in this paper a new method base on Wavelet theory is used for failure detection. Simulation results show that using wavelet transform can effectively be used to diagnose the broken bars in the motor.

Stability improvement of wind farms with fixed-speed turbine generators using braking resistors 采用制动电阻的定速涡轮发电机风电场稳定性改进

This paper investigates the stability improvement of a grid connected fixed speed wind farms following disturbances such as faults, using braking resistors along with reactive power compensation devices. As wind fluctuations and grid disturbances can cause significant shaft oscillations, their interaction effects have been taken into account by employing a two-mass shaft model. The stability performance of the system is examined by simulation studies in the DIgSILENT environment under different levels of compensation, delay time of circuit breakers following the gird fault conditions. Computer simulation results show the combination of braking resistors and reactive compensation can significantly improve the stability of grid connected wind turbines.
