This literature research paper focuses on human factors related to electronic waste (e-waste). From an analysis of the two last decades of academic literature on e-waste, a list of variables emerges as a convenient way to identify concerns and topics judged relevant, namely: awareness, attitudes and behaviors, incentives and deterrents, and mobile phone disposal motives.

The Chorrillos beach of the port of Huacho, is located north of Lima, Peru, and is contaminated by wastewater and solids, discharges by industry and population. For your evaluation of recovery environmental experimental research was applied using the following techniques: observation, environmental assessment, surveys, measurement of effluent flows and analysis of samples of its marine waters.

Taking into account the recent interest in producing green energy through wind turbines, this paper aims to reconsider other options regarding different distributions in order to increase the production efficiency. Also, this paper analyses the hypothesis of Romania using only wind turbines to provide the energy needed to sustain the system, which at first may seem a bold idea, but pollution has become such a heated debate issue nowadays that it cannot be ignored anymore

The Ricinus communis is a plant characteristic of the tropical and temperate areas. In some countries they have different names (ricino, tartago, higuerilla, mamona, among others) and present specific appearance (Rivera Brenes, 2014). It is used mainly to obtain castor oil from its seed. This process involves as a first stage a drying process, usually carried out naturally in the yard, which is necessary mainly to avoid the rot of the seed and its capsule. This methodology does not allow a clear understanding of drying process (Goneli et al., 2016; Embrapa Algodão, 2015). Abstract

Critical drying fraction data (xc) were obtained for a series of porous materials, frequently used as supports for heterogeneous catalysts. This kinetic parameter correlates well with the secondorder rate constants for water diffusion in the pores (p < 0,01). It is concluded that xc is by itself a sufficient parameter for comparison of mass-transfer resistance between different candidate supports.

Heat is the transfer of energy across the boundary of a system, driven by a temperature difference between the system and its surrounding environment. At moderate temperatures, the two mechanisms for heat transfer are conduction and convection, but the overall view of the issue is a transfer of molecular kinetic energy from hotter zones to colder zones of the system or to the environment, as stated in the early articles by Bridgman (1923), Osida (1939) and Mohanty (1951). Abstract
