Asociación de la autoeficacia para el afrontamiento del estrés y la ansiedad cognitiva ante exámenes con la sintomatología del estrés de estudiantes universitarios 压力和考试前认知焦虑的自我效能感与大学生压力症状的关系

Background: university life is defined by the multiple demands that students face. Exams are events of great concern that can trigger harmful stress responses. The perception of self-efficacy to achieve goals has a modulating effect on cognitive, emotional and behavioral processes. Objective: to analyze the relationship and influence between stress coping self-efficacy, cognitive test anxiety and physical and psychoemotional stress symptomatology in university students in a pandemic context. Method: cross-sectional descriptive-correlational design. 314 university students participated (M = 23, SD = 6.05). Results: significant correlations were found between the variables examined. The proposed model showed that stress coping self-efficacy (efficacy and outcome) and cognitive test anxiety explain 39% physical and psychoemotional stress symptomatology variance. Conclusions: students present greater vulnerability to feelings of anxiety and stress exacerbated by the healthcare context. The study of these variables provides an updated perspective of the psychoemotional interactions that condition the capacity to face university challenges.

Efecto de un tratamiento contextual para la regulación de la ira y la inflexibilidad psicológica en adultos jóvenes colombianos 情境治疗对哥伦比亚年轻人愤怒调节和心理僵化的影响

Background: At present, interventions for the management of problematic anger regulation and psychological inflexibility in affected young adults are scarce.Objetive: to evaluate the efficacy of a brief intervention, in a group and virtual format, for anger regulation and psychological inflexibility reduction. Method: A group of 40 Colombian young adults (40% male, 60% female; M = 25.3 years; SD = 3.35) were randomly assigned to one of two conditions: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy-based intervention for anger regulation and psychological inflexibility reduction and waiting list. Results: Experiential avoidance, cognitive fusion, connection to the present moment, values, and perception of negative effects of problematic anger expression were assessed. Significant differences with large effect sizes were found in the experiential avoidance, cognitive defusion, contact with the present moment, and obstruction in values variables. The variables of progress in values ​​and perception of the effects of anger presented changes in the experimental group, but not in their comparison with the control group. Conclusions: The results were promising regarding the effectiveness of this intervention.

Bienestar, salud mental óptima y florecimiento: esclareciendo y diferenciando conceptos complejos 幸福,最佳心理健康和繁荣:澄清和区分复杂的概念

Backgrounds: this theoretical article reviews empirically and in detail the concepts of well-being, optimal/positive mental health, types of well-being and flourishing, with a view to clarification and differentiation based on what the current scientific literature offers, and given that they are often used as synonyms, or as interchangeable terms. State of the art: various criteria of inclusion and reference of what we usually consider "positive" and "negative" in scientific studies of well-being and distress (disease, pathogenic, decay) are explained and proposed as a framework and reliable guide for future research and work methodologies related to the constructs studied here, as well as a means of support in the elaboration and enrichment of the same definitions. In addition, specific and differentiated concepts of well-being, optimal mental health and flourishing, which are recognized as independent but interrelated, are proposed and articulated. Conclusions: the review of the literature and analysis of the information led to the emergence of a new concept called "integrative wellbeing", which seeks to compile the existing types of wellbeing and mental health that together are conducive to individual and social flourishing. Thus, we sought to have an impact on the use of adequate, current and functional terminology, due to the complexity and dynamism offered by the terms; trusting, in addition, that it will allow researchers and various professionals, the conformation and development of evaluation instruments, as well as possible practical applications in clinical, educational, social, political, labor or other fields.
