Physician–patient communication has received less focus in the study of healthcare service delivery in Nigeria. The majorityofcommunicationreliesonmessagedeliveryratherthaninterpersonalcommunication.Evenwhendoctors have significant knowledge to share with their patients, they frequently lack the interpersonal communication skills required to do it successfully. This quantitative study employed the analysis of 150 valid responses from practicing physicians in Lagos state. Descriptive statistics were carried out to understand the factors influencing physician–patient communication. The results revealed good communication skills among physicians as they agreed to have social conversations with patients, listen intently to them, and promote question-asking. The responses from the survey also revealed that factors such as limited consultation time and unfavorable working environmentscouldnegativelyimpactphysician–patientcommunication.Furthermore, thetesthypothesisrevealed a significant correlation between physicians’ age and gender (p < 0.05), whereas physicians’ ethnicity and religion had non-significant associations. The evaluation of factors influencing physician–patient communication revealed that several individual and contextual factors contribute to effective communication, including physician communication skills, patient health literacy, and system-level factors such as time constraints and workload. Healthcare organizations and policymakers should prioritize efforts to improve physician–patient communication by addressing the identified factors that influence communication and implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance communication between physicians and patients.
majorityofcommunicationreliesonmessagedeliveryratherthaninterpersonalcommunication。

Healthcare is one industry where intellectual property (IP) is a valuable resource. The creation of medications to meet medical requirements and the discovery of new therapies necessitate the preservation of inventions. Protection of scientific and technological advancements inspires researchers and the business community to develop new and improved treatments and medications, extending and improving people’s lives. Healthcare businesses may recoup their investments and continue to invest in fresh research because of IP protection. IP has raised the bar for medical and health research, and it will keep finding solutions to today’s unmet demands. As it supports the financing scheme for R&D, IP is a crucial cornerstone of our healthcare system. This article discusses that in a variety of industries, including the healthcare industry, IP is a valuable asset. It is imperative to safeguard ideas and discoveries to find new cures and create drugs to meet medical needs. Protection of scientific and technological advancements motivates researchers and the business community to discover new and improved treatment options and medications, thereby enabling people to live longer and better lives [1].

Throughout pregnancy, a woman’s body experiences profound changes across almost every organ and system to make room for the growth of an intrauterine fetus with minimum, if any, impact on the mother’s wellbeing. Every one of the body’s systems evolves, but the cardiopulmonary system is the primary focus of this investigation. The pregnant women in this study were selected using a simple random sampling procedure, and the research design was a cross-sectional assessment of cardiopulmonary parameters. Study participants’ blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and pulse rate were both lower during pregnancy compared to women who were not pregnant (P < 0.05), and their heart rates were higher during pregnancy (P < 0.05). Although systolic blood pressure hardly varies during pregnancy, diastolic blood pressure drops by roughly 5–10 mmHg between weeks 12 and 26. Throughout the subsequent 36 weeks, the diastolic pressure will rise to where it was before women became pregnant. Pregnant women have been shown to have a considerably lower peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) and a significantly higher respiratory rate compared to women who are not pregnant. Overall, there is a significant shift in cardiopulmonary parameters in pregnant women, which is crucial for grasping the typical physiologic adjustments during pregnancy

Cosmetic Science is a crucial multidisciplinary component in many scientific disciples and spans the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The 35-year-old predecessor, Cosmetic Science, is totally revised in New Cosmetic Science. In addition to talking about cosmetics’ safety, this article also describes the “usefulness of cosmetics,” a subject that is quickly gaining importance and comprising body cosmetics, dental care, cosmetics, makeup cosmetics, perfumes, and skin care cosmetics. The presentation of oral care and body cosmetics includes information about each product’s performance, types, primary ingredients, suggested uses, and manufacturing processes. Cosmetics have both physical and psychological effects. Lipstick formulas are used in cosmetics to improve the appearance of lips. Lipstick is a cosmetic item that gives the lips color, texture, and protection while also having pigments, oils, and waxes. Several different types of lipstick are only worn by women. The natural and safe component is found in organic lipstick. Additionally, they contain natural nutrients that support healthy lips. Using natural color extracts from various natural sources might lessen the negative effect.

In our day-to-day lives, nutrition and dietary supplements are necessities for work balance and active energy in our bodies. Also, in homeopathic medicine, allopathic medicines are given, and in Ayurveda, herbal medicines are given. Nowadays, chemical medicines are used as supplements, like steroids, which increase the body’s immunity, but these chemicals have hazardous side effects on our body’s functioning. Thus, in this review, we discuss and study L-carnitine and matcha green tea as supplements without any side effects on our body.
