Attitude is determined as “a predisposition or a tendency to respond positively or negatively to a certain idea, object, person, or situation”. A person has two angles in viewing a certain person or peers that are involved in a society, it's either positive or negative. The widespread LGBT community has awakened the social perspectives of society towards them. This study could not only benefit the researchers but also the whole community. This contemporary study was intended to deliver the viewpoints and perceptions of heterosexuality towards the LGBTQ+ in society. This endeavor employed quantitative research using a cross-sectional – descriptive study for it aimed to capture knowledge or attitude one point at a time. Convenient sampling was used to select the participant. Based on the results, In terms of the profiles of the participants, the age bracket is between 14-17 years old and females were mostly the participants. Meanwhile, 4% of the 300 participants exclusively did not say their gender preferences. Overall, the Junior High School students of Systems Plus College Foundation – main campus shows that with the individual attitude, nurturance and appreciation are the revealing attitudes towards the LGBTQ+ members while adaptive attitudes ( appreciation and admiration) are evident factors based on Daniel Katz theory. It is also recommended that the Daniel Katz attitude theory is good however, this will become more significant if future researchers will work on the correlation between the profile of the respondents and other predicting factors concerning the LGBTQ+ community.
