: Literature is a work that writers use to express various forms of feelings. Literary works are the result of the abilities possessed by writers in terms of imagination and imagination, but literary works cannot be separated from certain political ideologies. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review. The data collection techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions which focused on the political point of view in the novel "Salah Asuhan" by Abdoel Moeis. The event of hegemony occurs in the novel because the character in the role changes citizenship to follow Western culture because of his fascination and wants to escape from the constraints of Eastern cultural rules. : This study aims to examine semiotics using Roland Barthes' theory in one of Kahlil Gibran's poems entitled " Cinta yang Agung ". The research method used is a qualitative approach using semiotic analysis as an analytical tool. The poem "Love the Great" was chosen as the object of research because it contains deep and complex meanings, and involves the use of signs in forming hidden meanings and messages. The research that will be discussed, namely regarding the five Roland Barthes codes and analyzing each sign contained in the data. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide a deeper understanding of the meaning and messages contained in the poem " Cinta y ang Agung " by Kahlil Gibran through Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. : The novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori introduces various applied in high school learning. This study aims to identify these values and explore the implications of their application in learning Indonesian high school. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques to identify the values of character education in the novel Laut Bercerita. The results of the study show that there are several character education values contained in this novel, including honesty, justice, friendship, simplicity, courage, and responsibility. The implications of these values for learning Indonesian in high school are improving language skills, understanding cultural values, and forming positive and constructive student character. This study also provides practical recommendations on how to integrate character education values into Indonesian language learning in senior high schools. The Novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori has many character education values that are relevant to be applied in learning Indonesian in high school. Integrating these values into learning can help improve language skills, understand cultural values, and shape positive student character studies that wish to develop Indonesian language learning based on character education. : In this study, the formality scale speaking behaviors of digestive surgeons to patients were explained. Using reflective and descriptive notes to gather data for this research. To evaluate whether the utterances were included in the speech act coding that characterizes the formality scale, the researcher conducted a heuristic analysis of the data. The research data is spoken conversational language between physicians and patients at Abdul Moeloek Hospital in Bandar Lampung that depicts the degree of formality (formal and informal) as a setting for creating relationships. : Semiotics is the study of signs. With this science, one can understand the meaning contained in the signs that appear in a work of literature and art. In studying a sign, semiotic approaches are needed, one of which is the approach proposed by Roland Barthes. To apply Roland Barthes' approach to a literary work of poetry, the author chose a poem by Supardi Djoko Damono entitled "Gerimis Jatuh". The type of research used is semiotic research with data collection methods in the form of literature and note-taking techniques. The methods and techniques of data analysis used are descriptive analysis methods associated with Roland Barthes' theory. The results of this study show that the poem "Gerimis Jatuh" is an expression of the author's feelings of sorrow for someone he misses. Improving Student Chemistry Learning Outcomes through Learning Cycle Models in SMK. This research aims to determine whether Learning Cycle can improve students' chemistry learning outcomes in class X SMK Negeri 4 Palembang. This Research use Subject at students of class X TKR 1 SMK Negeri 4 Palembang, amounting to 30 students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is implemented in two cycles. Data obtained from each cycle were analyzed to determine the development of learning and as a correction thing in the next cycle. Data collection is done through an evaluation test at the end of each learning cycle. The collected data was analyzed statistically using class average and percent student's classical. In the first cycle the average score of students is 63.67 and the percentage of students' classical is 43.33%. While in the second cycle there is an increase in student learning that can be seen from the average score of students by 82 and percent classical student to 86.67%. Therefore, the application of Leaning Cycle learning model in chemistry learning, especially electrochemical learning can improve student learning outcomes. : At present students often have difficulty answering and solving questions, especially international standard questions in the form of PISA. The existence of a difficulty faced by students is a lack of interest in reading so that literacy in Indonesia is very low, especially on the results of the PISA test. The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties experienced by students in answering PISA questions like the context of North Sumatra, the factors that influence difficulties in answering questions generally lie in the use of formulas, understanding or the ability to digest the language in the texts of PISA questions. This type of research is descriptive research that aims to identify and describe the difficulties experienced by students in answering PISA Like questions in the context of North Sumatra. : This study will discuss the analysis of drama performances. The drama that will be analyzed from this study is entitled "Sunset's Promise" by Taofan Nalisaputra. The analysis of the drama performance in this article is more in-depth regarding the structure of the drama. Some of the drama structures that will be analyzed are the prologue as an introduction, the dialogue sequence of conversations from each character in the scenes, the epilogue is part of the ending, the scene is the way a character plays the role he plays, and the act. Apart from the structure already mentioned, in this article the author also provides an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the drama performances studied. There are two main actors in the drama performance staged by theater students, FIB, Unja, namely Sasa as the mother and Natasha Salsabila as the child character. The two main characters played the roles given very professionally. Even so, there are some technical implementations that are less than optimal, such as lighting, shooting, and noisy sound. : The ego is the center of all consciousness consisting of thoughts, memories and feelings. This research is motivated by Carl Gustav Jung's Psychoanalysis on the short story by Asma Nadia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and the object of this study is a short story entitled "Cinta Lelaki Biasa" by Asma Nadia. Research data obtained from the results of reading and note-taking techniques. The results of this study show the awareness of the character Nania in the short story which consists of aspects of the soul's function and also the attitude of the soul.
