Twitter ialah aplikasi dimana para pengguna dapat berbagi segala informasi, mulai dari hal yang trending sampai yang menyangkut hobi, seperti menonton film.Film merupakan gambar yang bergerak dan dilengkapi dengan warna, suara, dan sebuah kisah. Hingga saat ini, sangat banyak film-film yang muncul berasal dari perusahaan terkenal, salah satunya film The Marvels. Banyaknya pengguna Twitter yang mengutarakan opini baik positif maupun negatif terkait film tersebut digunakan sebagai sumber untuk melakukan analisis sentimen penelitian ini. Penelitian menggunakan digunakan metode Lexicon Based. Penelitian ini menggunakan 1656 data tweet dengan kata kunci “The Marvels”. Hasil dari analisis yang dilakukan antara lain 67,2% sentimen positif, 12,6 sentimen netral, dan 20,2% sentimen negative yang menyatakan film The Marvels diterima baik dan menarik perhatian masyarakat.

Promotion is one way of marketing products and services by companies. However, there are also many small or medium enterpreneurs who still use word of mouth as a way to promote their business. It is still found that middle to lower class enterpreneurs have not utilized existing technology to promote their businesses through websites. Many companies or traders carry out promotions in varoius ways, such as throught social media, instragram, websites and many others. The method used in this research is waterfall, the programming language PHP, MySQL, UML. The aim of the research is to develop website based promotion of typical Batak textile crafts in Siantar. In this case, it can help enterpreneurs in distributing textile crafts to the market. The results can be used by enterpreneurs selling typical Batak textile crafts via websites and enterpreneurs can promote crafts widely.
