Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, coğrafya içerikli becerilerin 4-7. sınıflarda okutulan 2005-2018 yılı sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretim programlarına göre hazırlanan ders kitaplarında belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda ne ölçüde yer aldığı ve nasıl bir değişim geçirdiğini tespit etmektir. Bu doğrultuda çalışma nitel araştırma yaklaşımına uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Veriler doküman analizi ile elde edilmiş ve betimsel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda Coğrafya disiplini ile ilişkili değişim ve sürekliliği algılama, kanıt kullanma, çevre okuryazarlığı ve mekânı algılama gibi becerilerin ders kitaplarında ele alınan temalar bakımından dengeli bir dağılım gösterdiği; konum analizi, gözlem ve tablo, grafik, diyagram çizme ve yorumlama gibi becerilerin ise dengeli bir dağılım göstermediği saptanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda ulaşılan bulgular ışığında, programda bulunan coğrafya disiplini ile ilişkili becerilerin yeniden gözden geçirilerek ders kitaplarında eksik ve yetersiz bir şekilde aktarılan becerilere daha fazla yer verilip incelenmesi önerilmiştir. Ayrıca ders kitaplarında bulunan becerilerin öğrenme alanlarına dengeli bir şekilde dağıtılarak belli bir standarda uyulması da diğer bir öneri olarak sunulmuştur. Bununla birlikte ders kitaplarında görsel, bilgi, etkinlik, haber ve değerlendirme tema boyutlarında becerilerin kendi içerisinde dağılımı da eşit olacak şekilde yapılabilir.

In this research, it is aimed to reveal the opinions of teachers working in Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) about their job satisfaction. In the study, case pattern was applied as one of the qualitative research methods. The research was carried out with the number of 15 teachers, 9 male and 6 female, working in Antalya Science and Art Centers in the spring term of the 2020-2021 academic year. The data of the study were received by open-ended questions created by the researcher. The data were analyzed by face-to-face and descriptive analysis technique by the researcher. According to the findings obtained from the research that a significant part of the teachers stated that the physical facilities and technological infrastructure in the institutions were insufficient and the interest and desire of the students towards the lesson was low. Teachers also stated that they have had problems due to the increase in the number of students in their institutions in recent years, so they had difficulty in having enough time to each student and that some courses were not given the necessary importance by the school administrators. Based on the relevant findings of the study, it was concluded that the expectations of the teachers towards the profession could not be fulfilled by the institution, students and the program due to these reasons, and this situation negatively affected their job satisfaction.
